Difference Between Rb25de And Det Wiring Looms

I want to put a RB25DET into my NA R33. Are the wiring looms the same? Otherwise I'll sell it and buy a turbo model.

What other things do I need to consider with this swap? I know fuel, brakes, suspension, computer. Are the gear boxes the same?

Should all be the same just plug in a turbo ecu once the turbo motor is in.

true, but if you're going to upgrade the brakes, suspention, and everything that seperates the NA and Turbo models, wouldnt it end up cheaper? And I have a contact who can get me Skyline parts for much cheaper than most. That what I would have thought, please correct me if I'm wrong

theres quite a lot of discussion on this topic in the na section, have a search in there, it depends on how much you've already done to your car really, although with the current price drop in skylines the na's are holding more value then some of the turbo's so u might end up on the plus side of a straight swap insed of forking out the big dollars

unless your attached to your particular car, i wouldn't bother personally.

go proper factory turbo car , that way you get the bigger gearbox, 5 stud wheels, bigger brakes, engine etc all ready to roll out of the box and it has the factory build tags to match.

do the NA models have LSD and the same gearing?
