Electric Problem?

my car atereo has just stopped recently both amps no longer turn on but the deck is still working and all the fuses seem to be okay, not sure whats wrong with them but there is a thread posted about it in the car audio section. im still trying to figure out what is wrong with it. ANYWAY

a few months ago i got my car back from the mechanic and the tacho was going crazy even when i hadent started the car, and now after changing over the whole instrument cluster it WAS fine for about amonth or so but now the speedo isnt working at all!!??

clearly there is something wrong with my cars electronics, i dont know whats going on but something is up,

anyone got any ideas?

wouldnt electric current pass through the speedo/instrument cluster to get the information from the engine/ecu? it wouldnt be solar powerd

maybe ur speedo cable fell off? or snapped

Check your fuses - might fix the problem.
