its wherever your tuner set it....standard is 7000 if its a gtst or 8000 for a gtr. was your last car a commodore?

the redline on my tacho says 7000 but the limiter dosn't actually kick in till 7400.

yeah I had a similar thing in my old gtst. turns out the tacho was inaccurate it was showing about 7300 when the rev limit kicked in but the PowerFC showed only 7000. might be the same thing, stock limit is 7000. Or you might have a chipped or aftermarket computer.

well could be anything you set it to with a PowerFC. computer will show accurate revs because it controls them. the tacho in the dash was innacurate in my car (reading about 5% too high)

you can check the PFC limit if you have the hand controller. not sure what the key sequence is tho

74?? is what shows up on the peak hold of my avcr, i know i dont have a chipped ecu and the power fc is in here so it can be that, i was assuming that it wouldnt be out by 400rpm.

My bad, the power fc is in my computer room so it "CANT" be that.

typo.

this is more inaccurate.. my remap has the rev limiter set to 7500rpm, but my dash reads 8700rpm.. Go Figure.

Actually I have ASE to blame for this, instead of running a 10K ohm resister parallel with my tacho line (RB20 in S13), the morons just ripped out the needle and re positioned it so it only showed the correct idle readout and everything else is fcked.

spinning wheels in the wet can actually cause the tyre to shred, which will wear the tyre down much much more then spinning in the dry. be carefull some tyres shred bad in the wet if you spin them at high speeds.

i only slide it when its wet...tyres?!.. hehe.. cheers guys.. nah... this is my first car,... and commodores suk..!!..lol... thanks guys
