hit 8000 on the factory tacho or a digital read out?

if factory tacho, then i wouldnt stress too much, some of these can be way out, but if its a digital read out then it would display the actual engine rpm, in which case, 8000 rpm is too much for a 25.

take the cat to a haltech tuner and get them to set a 7400 rpm limit

guys... i hagve it a blip out of throttle...and hit 8000rpm and it did not cut out... uh oh?

i would advise against reving your car in neutral cause it wont tell you shit.

the speed that it revs out in neutral will go straight past any rev limiter and you will back off before you here it work.

just next time your out the front of your house instead of changing into second leave the car in first. give the car a good gutsful of throttle and without hitting anything see how high it will go.

once you hit it clutch pump second and hold on.
