hi everyone,

i'm new here and looking to get a 33gtst...and most of the ones ive been checkin out are modified in one way or another. Some range from simple mods like rims, pod etc right up to fmic/ecu/exhuast/catch can.

My question is, say i go with the ones that have alot of stuff done to them, as before, fmic, ecu etc etc except for the general rules ( like in vic cant have a fmic and a pod) is it actually required that you get these kinda mods engineered/inform vicroads or anything like that?

I dont wanna be copping defects or driving around illegally on the off chance i need to claim on insurance cos they will bend you over any chance they get.

Is there any links to a mods guide or something? the one on the vicraods site didnt really clear much up to me from the quick look i had.

Also wats the go with oil catch cans? legal?

neways appreciate the help guys.

thanks

Hi mate.

Its all covered here for the most part.

VicRoads/EPA websites also basically backs up whats in the thread in their VSI's and other regulations.

Two intake mods = never approved.
