Interior Neons

I own the 4 door R34 25GT and i have noticed when i first started driving it that at night when my lights are on. only thing would light up is the dash. my centre console has no lights at all. so in result i have put in neon lights to see but i know they arent exactly the smartest thing to drive with them on as other drivers do tend to see them from there car. is there anyway to somehow install lighting in the centre console so it would light up. im not sure if other skylines do is this normal?

any advice or help would be appricated. Thanks

Why don't you hunt down the electrical problem with the console lights?

Then you have no need for the added lighting...
