My grandma's r33 gtst recently went in for a service (in nambour) and when she asked about a warning light that has been on (it is the a-lsd dash light) and what it meant he had no idea, now apparently he ask some friends and it is the g-force sensor that has stuffed up and that is why the light on the dash is on.

I don't no a great deal about 33 dash warning lights ( i have a 32) so i really need to find out if this is the correct problem and how much the part should be, this tosser is trying to charge her $1200 for the part alone.

Your grandma drives a Gtst? hahah wow that's interesting.

I didn't think gtst's had g-force sensors, only GTRs. PaulR33 on here knows a bit about the A-LSD on the gtst.

lol black manual with a nismo front bar hahaha

hi pete,

the a-lsd light will stay on if the unit fails diagnostic or there is a fault

the common things to check for is there enough fluid in the resivour in the boot (right hand side)

when you turn the car onto ACC do you hear the pump run? (its underneath the car on the right hand side under the petrol cap area

also check any fuses etc - has anyone been fiddling with wires etc? what ecu ?

it doesn't use g force sensors it piggybacks off the ABS computer and watches each wheel's speed to detect wheelspin

does your abs work ok ?

sure does, thanks heaps for that god knows how the mechanic thought that the g-force sensor was the problem though lol
