Any idea how many pages these "manuals" are (the ones in the original post)?

I have a small A5 sized bound booklett that came with the car (I presume the dealer made it up?) that is only 30 pages or so. Doesn't go into a lot of detail but was a good introduction to the car at least. Doesn't really cover servicing or anything like that and has about 5 pages just on seatbelts and baby seat tie downs etc. but not much info on other things.

Hopefully the one in the link is better because there's no way I'd pay more than $10 for the one I have.

There was one on ebay or something that was like 200 pages a year or so ago. About the same price if I remember correctly...

BEWARE.....

These manuals are falsely advertised as 1996 - 2002.

They DO NOT cover the S2......

They are the same ones that were on Ebay. I have one. They are somewhat useful, but if you think that you are going to find out everything and every button on your car you're wrong.

Like most owners manuals they are very general in nature. They do cover the S1 quite well, but there is no mention of anything that is specific to the S2.

Curiously though it has specs on the S1, RS260 and M35!!! (power, torque, dimensions).

IMO, it should only be sold as a Series one owners manual. 1996 - 98.

I complained to the ebay seller, and they are now advertised as S1 owners manuals.

You'll find out more (about your car) on SAU, but if you want one for your glove-box they are not bad. Realise though that they do not show anything other than do's and dont's, also the translation isn't 100%.

PS... I bought mine before I got my car, they aren't that much better than the one that comes with compliance.

I have the RB series engine manual somewhere on my home computer, I'll have a look for it if anyone is interested.

I am also after a manual. My 2000 rs four came with nothing.

I have both... previous owner bought them and gave them to me.

The first one is very basic like any manual you find in a glove box... nothing you wouldn't work out yourself or from asking in the forum.

The second is very comprehensive worth getting if you have machenical aptitude and want to work on the Stagea yourself. It says in the Add that it covers WC34.. and well yes it does but not by name there is no mention of "WC34" other than in the add... not even on the cover.

As it says "This newly available R33 engine workshop manual covers maintenance of engines fitted to..." so it is engine specific no model.

The http://www.scmotorsports.ca/scmfdb/download.php?file=107 Ryan 1600 mentions is the same manual.
