Hello

I know this has probably been covered 100 times but how much boost can the stock rb25 motor take, keeping in mind the car will be a daily driver, and late next year i will be putting my rb30 block in it.

Also when people refer to a high flow, like "i have a gcg high flow turbo in it" what does this mean exactually??

cheers

"highflowing" a turbo basicly means making the housing bigger, the turbine stronger so it can make more boost which means more hp for ur car. atm skylines come which ceramic turbines which will shit itself under high boost.

as far as forgies go, anywhere between 250-300+rwkw. depending on how well u take care of ur car and a million other reasons.

but the general rule of thumb is anything 270-280 i think.

It's not a function of boost, it's tune and final horsepower. I am making around 500rwhp on a completely stock RB25 motor/headgasket at 1.5bar, but I'm really pushing it. I also have access to cheap replacement motors, so I can do that (I'm in Japan). Read up and you'll find answers. Also, ignore all that "it'll handle 1.2bar on the stock headgasket" crap.
