Cluster-dash Lights

I recently pulled off these ugly white cluster faces that the previous owner had put in,

but ive realised that now the orignal cluster dont light up, because the faces themselves lit up, and he disconnected the standard lights.

if anyone has seen this before, what do you disconnect to put this face in, so i can reconnect the originals.

Note; all the original bulbs are in and they work,
