a non turbo r33 in good condition will be starting at 10k.............anything immac will be dear.why bother putting in new engine?,save for a good car or get one imported?-nothing to spend then..........i have had my r33 gts series 2 and havnt spent a dollar on it-->..besides some initial basic mods like some kings springs,tint,mags,air intake,irridium plugs etc.

the truth is they are a highly reliable,cost effective car to run/use.

there are may reasons to go for the gts skyline.at 145 kw.....its not quite the sameas gtst/gtr, however they are hastle free to run and highly cost effective reliability wise.that is also including other n/a cars for the money and power.anyway nobody can tell a n/a skyline.same attention etc........but will get badly beaten on the track,especially on acceleration.no boost.........=not challenge anyone, or take offers for a race etc.

you can also learn the ways of these cars and mods before moving on.........to higher performance vehicles,so take your time,survive and enjoy it.

very well, assumed it may be an efficiency/reliability matter. kills me (financially) to run the gtst but its all worth it considering the enjoyment i get out of driving it

yeah mate im in the same boat, im selling my car right now cos its turbo and i got my ps ao ill do a swap with a non turbo..

check my post - $5500 for R32 5spd sedan and with a VGC engine. freight / compliance to NSW standards would be extra though - probably cost you $8000 on road inc your rego and stamp duty etc
