found a short thread on this earlier. i have a bunch of JBL gear that was going to go into my mazda but is now gathering dust waiting for a stagea. GTO6011 600RMS monoblock to run two GTO1202 12" 300RMS dual voice coils, GTO607C 6" front splits and GTO637 6" 3-ways for the rear, as well as a GTO7556 6 channel (80RMS x4 + 120RMS x2) to run the four speakers as well as a pair of GTO937 6x9s in the tailgate. Pioneer AVHP5950DVD 7" dvd screen for the head unit.

Should be good!

what gear are you having installed daniel? and is it just a basic install, or customing?

reason being as its not too hard (i re-installed the setup in kylies stag), and if you want to save some money i can give you a hand.

today I just had my 12 inch infinity sub built in to the rear left caddy of my m35 so now the lid to the spare compartment is free to access without having to remove the box that used to sit on top of it

I have standard door speakers as they sound good enough and have custom fittings that my infinity kappas would not slot in to without re-jigging. Will cross that road as and when/if I need to

4 channel Alpine V series amp and clarion dxz835mp head unit complete the bill

Hey mate Stageas are unreal for good sound, but i think people buy stageas because they are a great all rounder, good performance, unusual good looks and functional. You can stack 4 people in it comfortably with a bunch of gear in the back, i took 4 people, an esky, 4 chairs, towels, tent, backs and a stereo to the beach with my sub box in the back... So what im gettin at my advice is if your going to get a custom hibreclass sub box install thats cool but keep the car functional.

Anyways

What i have;

Deck: Alpine Single CD deck

- Up front: custom 3 way speaker pods with Boston Pro 3 Ways

Power: Alpine V12 4 channel under seat

-Half Back: 2 way MB Quartz 6.5"

Power: Alpine V12 2 channel Rear left quater pannel (usual spot for stacker)

- Way Back: 12" Alpine type-R

Power: Alpine V12 Mono under seat

As i built the whole system myself i made the sub box sealed and small as i like tight bass not super booming deep stuff

:D Good luck with everything

Cheers

cheers paul thats why im having it flush mounted in the floor as the stereo place is then building a cover to go over the top of everything so i dont lose the storage ability of the back. i know it mite sound strange with a stagea but im looking to head down the show/weekender route with the mods to my car. i dont want anything over the top with rediculous paint or graphics or fibreglass everywhere just a tasteful "as factory" apperance. thats why the custom stereo is being done.
