Hi,

Recently bought myself an R34 and was wondering which brand fuel i should use. The previous owner used Shell 98 or something and it still has a bit left in it, would it be alright if i used a different brand, say Caltex Vortex 98 even though it has about 10L in it still?

yeah it will be fine.

i use BP ultimate and caltex vortex 98. never had a problem.

As long as it's 95ron or higher, it should be fine. I would highly recommend anything 98ron or higher though.

"Shouldn't" have a problem but it depends if it has mods and if it was tuned for a certain fuel eg: if its tuned for 98RON and you can only put 95RON then dont go giving it too much right foot.

If you prefer to run BP/Vortex then just make sure there is no detonation
