i have a 93' R32

and water is getting into the passenger side light (the one closer to the centre)

i saw a tut on here (cant find it) about leaking taillights but was that for water getting in to the boot or in the light.

Also condensation appears to be in the rear \ skyline / panel after some body work, any idea how to get that out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Condensation will be from a gap somwhere. Look in the most condensed area, thats where the gap should be. My last skyline had the water in tail light problem. I drilled a small hole at the bottom of the light to drain it. The first time i did it, i had to suck it out with a straw, lol. Suck and spit, unless your a swallower. :(

Someone may have a better idea though.

compressed air is your friend.

drill a hole, get the water out, blow air in there to get it all out and dry it out, put the light in an oven on low temp for a few mins. then silastic up the hole, and where the leak is (usually around the glass/plastic seal)

yeah i had this problem with my GTR, as old mate said drill a small hole in the bottom. but try find the gap. i only noticed it cause i had a blown tail light and noticed the water. Im guessin it coulda been blown from the water..? not sure though ha.

Is there anyway to avoid drilling a hole i.e. removal and trying to find where the leak is.

I have an idea where the leak is but do not know how to remove the unit.

(sorry about the slow reply)

Remove the cover from the car, fill it up with water and see where it leaks from >_<

then empty the water out and blow it dry with an air blower. Get some strong glue and patch it up.. works like a charm

sorry i meant the rear brake/taillights etc

Does anyone know how to remove the rear light assembly?

I need some instructions, as i will try to seal it again

thanks in advance
