The car has been in the country for a while then as that rule was abolished shortly after mine came in on it in 2004 ish?

Edited - actually I seem to remember something about still being able to bring cars in that were up to that 15 year age but it wouldnt continue in the way it had but being able to import a 1990 in 2005, then a 1995 car in 2010 etc. It was just up to 2004/2005 I think.

Without knowing with 100% certainty, I would say no. The car didnt come from the factory like that (or did it?)

i herd u can get away with few things when cimplying under 15yo rule as that the importer complied it the car way much befor the 15yo rul eneded so he had it for long time just want to know if i could get away with putting fiberglass front guards or would i have to put them on after comply lolz

What car?

The 15yr old rule was trashed from memory, and hence regardless of it being landed...

It must still be complied then under the law, not 3 years later under a rule that no longer applies. (using the 3yrs as example)

Compliance is "bringing in" in terms of what your talking about.

oh sorry lol forgot to put down what my car is lol its a 1989 - 1990 R32 gtst and has the papers brought in under 15 yo rule
