Hi i am a new user i living in dominicain republic and i have here mi country the only one skyline gtr r33 bncr33 year 1996, you know and mi country don't sale any parts for mi car because is japan model and this car is the only one here all parts there need a buy japan stored, i see this forums in the internet and i am interesting to know more about mi car, i have now a problems with mi transmission gear box the 3 gear and 4 gear have the syncro bad, i buy here a tramsmission gear box but is for gtr r32 early model i wanna to know if mi car gtr r33 i can put this transmission gear box , i know something about the gear box gtr r32 is push type and mi gear box gtr r33 is pull type, i don;t have a problem with that i have a others clucth for to push in the gear box gtr r32, mi question is if can put this gear box gtr r32 in mi gtr r33 and what kind of oil used this gear box gtr r33 i was used the motul 75w90 i don't know if correct to used this oil, the LSD used the same oil..? or is diferent please help about that apreciated the somebody can help me about that thanks for all........ and sorry i don't know to write very well english....

for the gearbox preferably you use a synthetic gearbox oil and for the LSD use ONLY oil made specifically for LSD. Might cost a bit more though.

The oil is fine, the R32 GTR gearbox will work.

Thanks for this information i apreciatted the do you help me about that...i have a another quetions for you, mi car gtr r33 have inside of trunk in the left right a litle tank this tank is for the oil of LSD...? and if is correct to put this tank a ATF MOTUL or what type of oil is correct to put in this tank, mi mechany put a 75w90 gear box is correct to put this oil in this tank....thanks for all....

I'm having a little difficulty understanding your english, but I interpret your last sentence as your mechanic put 75w90 oil in the small tank in the right hand side of your boot (known as "trunk" in American terms) behind that little cover.

The guide doesn't apply exactly to the R33 but have a look at first photo, is that the tank?

If so then thats a problem, your supposed to put Nissan D-matic fluid OR ATF Dextron III (see http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/AT...l=attesa+fluid) do not put OIL in there.

The tank contains fluid for the ATTESA system, it goes to the transfer case, if you changed the fluid in the transfer case it uses the same fluid as the boot do not put any oil in it.
