Make sure your knock sensors are plugged in :). After disconnecting the front one, and trying to figure out a way to disconnect the rear, i followed the loom back and saw that it was disconnected! Re-connected and reset the ecu and ta-da, it wants to rev past 5500rpm, doesnt have a big dip in the power. It pings a bit around 6500 but i will retard the timing a bit. Unreal :)

i did a diagnostic check the other week as well and got knock sensor code as well...

i thought to myself ... hey what tool would be driving around with knock sensors unplugged...ha ha... but i decided to check also as that's what the ECU said

OH MY GOD ONE WAS UNPLUGGED! i don't understand why this would not be plugged in and it is very unlikely that it had fallen out so i am confused

but now it revs better past 5000rpm as luke said, and i have peace of mind!
