HAHAHAA!

Just got my computer back online again this morning...

Well well well ey, sorry Adam but I've got to take the inevitable stab at Hammi, as soon as I saw it I was thinking to myself "If Adam thought Kimi's faux pas at Monaco was all N00b! Hahhahaha WHAT WAS THAT!", still, if I was Kimi I would've done a Nelson Piquet on him... However good on Kimi for not swinging a hay-maker at him, good sportmanship.. Again, after Koobie got teh win I thought that Richard would be ricocheting off the walls like an ADHD mosquito after that Grand Prix! My goodness what a drive, too bad for NH though, been soooo long in the waiting, he'll get a win within 12 months, BMW can only go forward from here (plus, they've got Hinwill!).. Good on DC too! 3rd in the most unpredicable of circumstances! Not bad for a bloke pushing 40! Good on ya DC! Bit sad about Webbo though, thought he couldn've done more considering the leading Kimi was punted off by Louise.. Plus, Rubens leading the Grand Prix! Hahaha! Back to the Fezza days aye Rubens! :P

Hamilton said: "I was trying to be cautious. I looked at the red light and I looked back and they'd stopped.

lols. trying to be cautious. not trying hard enough in my book. haha that is laughable. of course nothing is ever louise's fault so I guess it should come as no surprise. lol, trying to be cautious indeed. both kimi and the bmw driver (kubie I think) were able to react with even less notice than louise and stop, he had more time to react as the light was already red as he approached, and there were cars sitting there at a dead stop. he just ploughed on in.

as for penalty, it's a tough call. on the one hand I'm not a big fan of the guy. also his carelessness directly took out one of the main WDC contenders so since kimi got penalised by having his race ruined by some noob, maybe the noob should cop a penalty.

on the other hand, I don't think anyone would suggest he did it intentionally (though if it were schuey everyone would crying that he did it on purpose). still it was a very careless mistake and should have been so easily avoided.

I think kimi summed it up very well. and showed a very mature approach.

"There's not much I can say," was Raikkonen's reaction. "My race was ruined by Hamilton's mistake. Obviously, anyone can make mistakes, as I did two weeks ago in Monaco, but it's one thing to make a mistake at two hundred (miles) per hour but another to hit a car stopped at a red light. I am not angry because that doesn't achieve anything and does not change my result! I am unhappy, because I had a great chance of winning."

which is why they gave the penalty to Ham and Rosberg(was it rosberg?) to try and prevent people being careless in the pit lane. How will Hamy ever live this one down.......

Yer it was Rosberg.

If we all agree Hamfists blunder was lineball penalty wise, then Rosberg copping a penalty is preposterous.

"Because daddy set a bad example by crashing an uber expensive Porsche into a kiddies playground, but it is ok because Uncle Ronny will save the day again, he has lawyers, connections and money so I'll be shielded from the reality like usual. Just so in my next race, I will prevail against all insermountable odds and win once again, hear me ladies and gents, it will be my best yet, it will be better than all the others because I, and not one else expected me to win, I drive a crappy car and I'm not the most talented driver on the grid. Not to mention, the FIA, the entire Forumla 1 fraternity and many followers of the sport are continually conspiring against me.. By the way, did I tell you them I'm humble and maganamous? Yeah haha! I tricked Massa, lol.. Did you see that? That was great! Yeah, uuhhrr, um, I kind of tagged Kimi though, I don't know, I was trying to be cautious, honest! I just can't see a stationary object, I needed his rear wing to stop you see... Um yeah, just waiting for my next paycheck to pay back the insurance company for daddy's faux pas, also so I can use the money to pay for hot chixx with big titties to hang around me so no-one finds out I'm really teh ghey! lolz! Now I'm too dress up as a fairy and to go get spooned by daddy so bye bye!"

Very dissapointed with webber. I sincerely hope he had a problem of some kind because he should have been up there in front of DC. I missed some sections of the race but webber must have had a problem, or really bad strategy and timing

webber got stuck behind barrichello, heidfeld, nakajima (good drive by him). since barrichellow was heaaaavvyyy he was running around 2secs slower than the average front runner. heidfeld found a way past otherwise his race was ruined too.

nakajima and webber were trapped there losing time lap after lap. webber was either too timid to stick it up the inside of nakajima or nakajima made very few mistakes in the early laps....so webber was more or less waiting for a safety car to minimise the cost of a pit stop. interestingly Kubica had no chance of passing Glock who was 2 secs a lap slower than him so i think all drivers were nervous about moving off the racing line.

once he was released from traffic his times were right up there with the front runners but i think he had two spins and gave up places each time. maybe the car wasn't set up as nicely as quali or he just lost concentration due to his position on the track.

once again his start was a little disappointing and given the P10 start maybe fueling it up and one stopping was the no-brainer option considering the state of the track and the likelihood of SC periods.

Yer it was Rosberg.

His accident is worse, he was following, he came along later, he had mroe time, yet he hit a car that had already hit a car in pit lane. He deserves to be reamed more then Hamilton!

When watching Webber nehind Nakajima, i had horrible flashbacks to 2005 when the Williams could never get past the slow Trulli/Toyota. Mark is hopeless in traffic. There is hope for him, Massa has turned the corner this year on that front, hopefully Mark can go back to his Jaguar and early Williams days where he had a go. I think he is all too worried about throwing away a race trying to overtake, and is simply too patient. Especiallu with his 2 stop strategy, he needed to clear Nakajima dn Rubens

agreed. he needs to remember the simple rule of racing strategy. as a wise formula one pirate once told me:

if one stopping ye be, then wait patiently and see

if it's a two stop ye done, then sail up the inside at turn 1.

i find it disturbing that you managed to think all that up so quickly between posts

Hahaha, lolz...

It is amazing, the power of resentment..

mark, wtf dude? :(

Are you touched or something?

Yes, touched by Schumacher, I shook his hand once, when he signed my cap...

I was forever touched, I've never washed my right hand since, which is why, I wipe my arse with my left! :P

behold!!!!! the polish rap star!!!!

Im a big fan of hamilton, but that was as BB said a piss weak mistake. Im sure kimi and kubica probably didnt see the light was still red untill the last second but they managed to pull their cars up before the line, hamilton however failed in a very noob like manner.

I think if he came out and just said ok i stuffed it, he would have more support from people. I dont know how he could put the team down that certainly wont help anything.

FARK!!! What chance is Hamilton have of pulling his head out his ass when Snr Management are in the same padded cell?

Whitmarsh in response to the 10 place penalty and what it means to them in France .... "In this instance, we'll take the loss of a likely win and the 10-place grid penalty squarely on the chin."

What? A likely win? So the Ferraris, BMWs are no chance? Despite the fact that Ferrari has won more races, and BMW have now won half as many as McLaren, hell they have also had more podiums. Looking back over previous seasons they have sucked around the Magny Cours with Ferrari and Renault dominating, hell Williams and Ralf have won more recently then Mclaren at this place. HOW THE FARK CAN HE SAY LIKELY WIN?

I hated McLaren through the 90s, with Kimi and DC this decade i got over it. (ALways loved DC though) Now i am starting to despide the way they go about racing.

Actually, just read the full interview to see what other drugs he is on and it is possible he is referring to a likely win in Canada, but its not clear?!?!?!?!

Kubica and Kimi pulled up just fine. They were side by side , the reason they were side by side was that with the red light at the exit it was going to be a drag race down the exit. They didnt lock brakes, and if you look at the replays they were pulling up around 1mtr short. They say the light no problem and this was whilst wheel to wheel with another car. A lot more going on them Hamilton!

I think he meant Canada, but even that is laughable...Does he not realise that Hamilton would have rejoined the race in 3rd after that pit stop? Kimi and Kubica both passed him in the pits.

    • Well, no. It's an 023, which is pretty similar to an 040. Although it is hard to tell from the specs, as given.
    • Hmm. Maybe the (other thing I forgot about!) Haltech removes at least some, if not all, of the problem I described. I guess there is still the possibility of getting it wrong if the AC is set up/wired up for the Haltech as if it was in an R34 (simply because it's on a Neo), and that's playing foul with the R32 AC computer.
    • Glad it eventually came out Duncan!   I believe that might be 040. 044 is the inline pump, so has screw fittings in and out. 040 is more just drop it in fuel and the bottom is "open" (mesh) from my memory
    • well mate, while I hear your pain, turns out I don't feel it this time! Must have been a bastard of a job crammed into the boot The tank was very empty (probably pumped out, not dropped and drained because there were some fumes still) and in very good condition internally. I'm sure he never ran e85 in it I don't know what the hell Nissan's fuel tank engineers were thinking about their clipping system, this hanger was really hard to get moving but came out in the end All looks very good (as I'm starting to hopefully expect) and Matty was right it is an 023 (044) bosch which should be plenty for the injectors and turbo
