unless somebody (fisi) ass ends somebody who entering the pits, because of that rediculous setup, nothing will happen

surely anybody whos worth their half their pay in that design team saw that both the exit and entry were completely unacceptable

First thing you said - I say wait and see.

Ive... seriously. Youve never been there, they've never raced there so how the hell does anyone know whats going to happen tomorrow?

You cant predict anything going by a few practice runs and a quali.

I say their neck muscles will be falling off after half distance. This is going to be a massive test for them physically.

Humid, long, hot and tiring...oh and did i mention rain? And walls?

Second thing you said - That entry and exit are bullshit, i agree. Barrichello was proof of that. Its weird even on tv..it seems to go into pit lane then it disappears, joins the circuit then cuts in sharp back into pitlane.

They cant do anything about it now, so lets see what this unexpected "spice" will add to the equation.

I think we are in for a lot of surprises tomorrow with fatigue as well as rain being major factors.

I reckon Ferrari are playing it safe by fueling Massa light and mark my words he's VERY light.

1: Yeah, weather, fatigue and endurace will play a big part.. I say expect saftey cars..

2: Pitlane exit and entry are fcked, I'd say expect at least 1 accident to occur as a result tomorrow.

3: Rain a good possibility.

4: Massa... No more than 3 laps lighter than Hammo, at most, at par or a lap lighter... I reckon the Fez have been sandbagging a bit.. Both qualified on the softs... Expect awesome times as they shift to the super-softs.. Kimi a dark horse.. More fuel than Lewis, maybe on par.. But heavier than Felipe..

5: Alonso either to 3 stop or run a killer long first stint.. Will work if saftey cars come out...

Will be close me thinks..

Weather unbearable..

However, still excited!

I'm super excited about the night race tomorrow!!

I think I'll actually sit and watch it all for once.... kinda gave up after JPM left :(

I was reading this article: http://www.motorsport.com/news/article.asp?ID=309108 while I was searching for info/goss about the Singers race and lol'd at this:

Q: David, your feelings about the final four races and are you any closer to deciding what you are going to do for the rest of your life?

DC: Well, I don't have to decide the rest of my life, hopefully it will be a long one.

I love when reporters ask dumb questions and they're smartarses back :laughing-smiley-014:

Yes...

P1 for Massa.

Lets watch and see how far it can take him tomorrow.

One thing i was amazed about was how good the circuit looked on TV. It really is easy to watch and i if i can see plenty of track at 10pm Snigapore time on TV, the drivers were having it even better.

Its a damn fast track and with 24 turns you can bet your right nut, things are gonna happen tomorrow night.]

There are a bunch of corners where a driver can easily get it wrong.

Turns 8, 10 and 16 are a couple of examples.

Oops well if he crashes at any of them they have made my lotto card !

The lap when he stops for fuel will reveal all, but Massa seems confident at present and focussed on the WDC. Considering how tricky the circuit is and how even Webber couldnt get a good lap in Q2, neither could Lamo in Q2...i am not discounting that Massa just got it right....again!

What will be interesting is how racey the guy with no balls will be from P3. I hope he shows as little respect for Lamo as he did for competitors the last race.

Roll on what could be an interesting race and with that pit entry being what it is i can see plnety of jockying for position at critical moments of the race.

COME ON MASSA...you talentless hack in teh 2nd best car takign it to the self proclaimed best i the game driving the best car

I dont know if you saw the incident, but the f**king muppets in the stewards box have f**ked up someones race again.

NH was coming into the pits on the very left of the track minding his own business clearly doing the right thing on on a flawed racetrack and along comes RB on a hot lap.

Now NH didnt do anything wrong - the entrance to the pitlane is f**ked up. So is the exit.

Even the FIA acknowledge this,

So how they can drop NH 3 places for impeding RB is farkin stupefying.

Not only has that caused enough out rage they go and compound their stupidity by giving RB a 10000 euro fine for going too fast in the decelleration zone.

seriously, WTF.

Streaming is up.

Try this link if (like me) you enjoy watching the live timing along with the race (although the streaming is usually 45sec behind the live timing).

my favourite qualifying commentary bit was the discussion on who was going to sneak into P10 in Q2 and advance to Q3 with Alonso out.

lots of chit chat every team but mclaren named.

pre-race started on ITV.

    • Yep, that was one of the things we learned fast in the past with our MX5. When you drive with the top down, you are effectively standing out in the sun, 100% of the time, and not getting in any shade (because roads aren't shaded generally!). Just like standing out in the middle of a field on a sunny 27C day is a bit of a bad plan, so is sitting in a MX5 without sun protection.
    • I also just ordered some Frankenstein bolts and side mounts to fit a hard top Just in case I do find one, basically so it doesn't need to be fixed to the car with only the front latch.......and then gaffa tape to keep it in place for the RTN journey from wherever I get it
    • If your temps are fine now, you probably won't have any issues with where your vents are as they don't look right up at the windscreens high pressure area, so any differences when giving it the beans for extended happy laps would be minimal, but, they should vent heaps when stuck in traffic  Much like how that reverse cowl on my SS let "visible" heat out when stationary, but, because it was basically at the windscreen my coolant temps on the Hwy actually raised because air was being fed into it at speed (110kph), to only come back down to around 90° when I got off the Hwy And your 100% correct about the NC currently not needing vents, but, if I was to add a turbo, and a oil cooler and intercooler in front of the condenserand radiator, and then take it to the track???? It is apparently a recommend requirement if I don't want to worry about coolant or oil temp issues, but, any of the above are possible scenarios, over time As it sits now, with the triple pass radiator and stock air conditioning system, I have absolutely no issues with either temps or air conditioning efficiency, I've been basically daily driving thie car for the last month, both on the Hwy, and peak hour, bumper to bumper traffic, but, that's pretty much expected from basically a standard engine  Talking about no issues daily driving, it was 39° the other day and I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on the M5 and then M7, with the top down, and with the air conditioning blowing nice cold air on my feet, balls, and face, well, there was one issue, my head and arms got pretty sun burnt Note to self: leave a hat and sunscreen in the car for such days 🤣
    • I would agree, unless you need something specific to the HV motor/battery side repaired or investigated, any mechanic will be able to perform normal services, but if you prefer, maybe look for a mechanic who regularly services/repairs Nissans, the VQ engines are pretty common in the Nissan lineup.  Sorry, I can't make any suggestions, I don't live in Vic.
    • Some of them keep working fine. 9 out of 10 of them end up causing an absolute misery bleeding the system and get thrown on the workshop floor in a tantrum and never thought about again because they were never really needed and just added crap to the car that we could have done without. Same-same with HICAS, A-LSD, and various other stupidities that over eager 10x engineers thought we had to have.
