But i like Massa. Was happy to see him get pole and race well in the wet and showing pace, his little error was no worse then others. He is always smiling etc in the conferenes, unlike the other guys. Sheesh win or come 2nd at Monaco you think Lewis and Rob would smile a bit more.

And again, i dont get what happened to Heikki. It was a wet race and drying. The car obviously was going to have the pace to jump a few spots. So i am not sure it was such a wise decision to pull him in and use him as the guinea pig for Lewis. There was already Alonso, Webber and Piquet running around on slicks and it wasnt hard to tell that it was a little too soon.

Then, rather the screamign and kicking up a fuss about letting him past the pace car with a few laps to go to try and jump all the chumps in slower cars, they stall the restart by stuffing around with him behind the pace car. He shoudl have got points today, and should not be languishing on equal points with Webber.

Perhaps he is too nice a guy and combined with the rotten luck he is having. The impressive thing is he seems to be damn quick. He just cant get a clean race under his belt. Must be frustrating for the guy

... and not that it has anything to do with the race, but massa has the most annoying habit of re-adjusting his cap after he answers every question in the post race interviews

Not quite as annoying as Louise wiping sweat from his eyes/nose and playing with his ear lobe as he proceeds to recount the entire race lap for lap...

Massa looked to be fighting back tears...He cried a bit after qualifying, obviously overjoyed at getting on pole when he didn't expect to have a good weekend. Obviously shattered to not take the win after showing so much promise in quali. and not running light like everyone expected.

Gotta be up in an hour for work but can't sleep. Too angry/sickened.

What i said the other page about Lewis and his intentions last year were just reinforced tonight. He on the radio and commentators referring to how he things he shoudl have won last years, so this years makes up for it :) He was the spoilt brat having a winge about not liking Alonso as a team mate.

Anyway, he raced well tonight. Though he did keep up his tradition of hitting walls around Monaco, which is why its laughable that he feels he should have won last year. Several wall strikes last year, only one this year :D

But you have to feel for Sutil and wonder when is Heikki going to get a change of fortune. If it continues then you would have to say that he has taken Webbers mantle as unluckiest guy in F1. Hell hear what they were saying about the strategy of trialling the tyres on him and saying it was a great tactic? BS, part of what made MS the champion he was that he fought every race for any points, to quit when in 12th in one of the two fastest cars on the grid :( Well look at the final results and he could have easily finished 6th if they didnt take their eyes of the ball

That sentence about MS reminds me of Hungary 2006, even though Schumacher, the master in-car strategist, got wayyy to hungry (lol, Hungry in Hungary..), if anything, pitting for drys when most others were doing so would've got him 3rd if not 4th, instead, he went wheel banging with Dela Rosa on worn inters, and then wheel to wheel with Kubica before finally retiring (crash I think)... It was this point, not Monaco, where I felt Schumacher lost critical momentum against Alonso (remember his wheel nut fell off in Hungary)... Those few extra points at Hungary would've not made Japan so cataclysmic for his championship hopes...

HHmmm anyway, not watching ITV again, I can't stand that 'Senna-esque' bullshit every race, I'm going to put pitchforks in my fcking ears if I hear it again.... FFS at least wait 'till he wins a championship or two before you bestow him with that kind of a label... I just can't watch F1 any more, I find the commentary so blindly single-minded and so disturbingly frustrating and sickening... Just Homo Hammo Homo Hammo every fcking race, every fcking race... People thought F1 ratings were going to plummet due to Schumacher dominance but they've lost me because the F1 commentary team has forgotten how to commentate and resort to hand-job'ing Louise Hamilton at every event, all race long... Enough is enough, it is just downright repulsive and makes F1 un-watchable... Like I said, fcking pitchforks in my fcking ears!!!

BTW, bad luck for Sutil, I was backing him for points, was hoping he'd make it... Too bad KR smashed into the back of him... BL to the entire Force India team, they deserved those points, as did Sutil, great drive for the young Kraut, I hope teams don't quickly forget this drive by him... Like to see Hammo do that in the Force India (then, even then I might reserve a slither of respect for him)..

If they (iTv) wanked Hammo off any more, his fcking vag would fall off....

The more I see of this Hammo crap, the more I want Schumacher back.. :)

Meh.. I'm gonna go sulk..

Bye bye and see you all nxt race...

Ive had enough of the Hammo bashing.

Ill respond to you plebs when ive got a chance...

He won and i knew he would.

'Nuf said...stick his win in your pipes and smoke that shit up...

Oh and Dezz, he HOSED the field down today. Or werent you watching?

anyways, i couldnt give a toss if both ferraris are on pole. Theyre light as feathers and just wanted the hoopla that goes with the front row.

They wont win.

wrong much? (about being light, not winning i could of told you they werent going to win lol and im die-hard ferrari fan)

oh and i forgot to add...

KR is a f**kING NOOB.

lol, yes because a World Champions is nothing lol...

and L.H was lucky thats it

Im sick of this shit.

You pleebs hate on Hammo coz ITV loves him.

Thats deplorable...

No, actually, thats Pathetic.

Itv this and they suck hammos cock that../

Grow up FFS.

What is deplorable is the fact that Hammo has a big giant weaner hanging off his forehead and acts like a spoilt little child every time something doesn't go his way, he acts like the entire world is against him and that he is somehow a Rocky Balboa of the Formula 1 world where he is down and out every fight and wins in the last round by going the distance... NO driver, I repeat NO DRIVER IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY of Formula 1 has had it as easy, as assisted nor as smoothly laid out/planned as Hamilton. Ok, he can't help acting the way he does because he is a product of his upbringing and of his career path thus far, that I'm willing to admit. However like ordinary people, Hamilton makes choices, yet he still thus chooses to be such an arrogant and self-serving wank job. If he didn't act like such a complete knob and treat the entire F1 fraternity (Fellow drivers/Fans ect) with such bone headed contempt, then we wouldn't have this problem would we??? In the end, Louise choose to act the way he does, and sometimes Louise lovers like yourself just have to suck it up and put up with the fact that he behaviour and his character just rubs some people the wrong fcking way...

Well you have had enough of the Homo bashing? Others seem to have had enough the continual praise the guy gets. He did a number on most of the field last night, but was out of this world lucky to recover from where he did. I was loving Massa driving away from him in the start. Personally the talk about loving the wet and being so gifted in the wet etc confuses me. To date i think he has been lucky in the wet. Only have to look at China, European GP, Japan etc to see that for a guy that is meant to be supreme in the wet he makes lots of mistakes and gets super lucky. ie gets away with being towed out of the kitty litter then unlap himself. LUCKY. Driving all over the track with wierd lines and gets blasted by Kubica and clashes when much slower. Kubica penalised whilst Lewis is lucky enough to havea still functioning car and races to the win. LUCKY. Runs around in teh damp with huys like Kimi and Alosno much quicker and kinder to their tyres in the wet at China, then parks it in the kitt litter, LUCK RUNS OUT. Last night was lucky again, hardly supreme wet weather master. Watch the Japanese GP again and you realise that he was struggling to do consistant times and lines. Sure the weather was tough, but the likes of Webber, Kubica and another rookie Vettel were able to do a better job. LOL but we rememebr what Vettel later did

It seems they want to paint a tag on him as rain master. Have to look at how Vettel and Kubica perform in the rain to realises that they show more wet weather prowess then Lewis.

Its no different to the Massa bashing. I think his efforts over the weekend are a credit to the guy. But people will just credit the fact that he is in a Ferrari. Last night was a strange one as he showed a clear pair of heels to Kimi, and Kimi had a shocker.

Was surprised to see Alonso making the mistakes he did. It seems he was just way too keen to get a result and didnt drive the conditions correctly. Would never of seen him drive like that in 2005 or 2006. Simply trying too hard

Ive had enough of the Hammo bashing.

Oh and Dezz, he HOSED the field down today. Or werent you watching?

We've had enough of you blowing Hamilton...He's got the whole iTV crew wrapped around his pipe which we have to put up with if we want to watch F1 with sound, so we really don't want to be hearing you do the same on here, but we do...

And he won because he put it into the f**king wall. But knowing Hamilton, that was all part of the plan... 'Nuf Said.'

oh and i forgot to add...

KR is a f**kING NOOB.

A 'noob' that maintained the composure to take the WDC right out of your boyfriends hands whilst he was busy choking...

Don't see why he'd get a penalty...if its the incident with Sutil they're refferring too?

He got it out of shape in a braking zone with cold brakes/tires after a SC...pretty sure thats racing.

Oh and m3gtr, Ivan is a McLaren fan and even he can't stand Louise :)

I can appreciate his driving talent and the fact that the boy has a mountain of skill.

It's his fkn attitude I can't stand. Like the F1 fraternity owes this guy something. Hes a big mouth selfish little prick... but on the flip side, he gets the job done. Hes no KR or FA, nor will he ever be, but he is in the upper tier of the current drivers, theres no dispute there. But to insinuate that he is some kind of rain master or strategic genius is a bit much.

well any day when you put the car into the wall during a race and still win has to be considered one lucky effort. he did drive well too, but safety cars etc all played into his hands.

webber drove flawlessly and was super quick at points of the race. his strategy hurt a little but i'm sure they were forced to pit and change tyres as the would have been running out of fuel. 4th was a great effort and he did well to keep his nose clean with all the carnage going on.

also is it just me or did james allen have some particularly bad verbal dihoreaha last night? he would waffle on for f**king minutes at a time without so much as a breath. and he was usually talking f**king nonsense while martin brundle could not get a word in edgeways. I mean, he is always pretty bad but last night was the pits. he wouldn't shut up and it's so frustrating when action is happening and you want to know what exactly is going on and he is f**king ranting away like some senile old man about some unimportant little piece of trivia or some other bullshit. either that or he's crapping on about how wonderful louise is and how he's practically senna re-born. f**king senile old fart should be shown the door.

    • who can tell me what this is and why my car talks to me? i think it's hilarious. it's on my r34 right above the drivers-side storage compartment. the characters under the wrench say "inspection". every 10 or 20 startups, a voice starts talking in japanese from some speaker in this area below the dashboard. it says a few sentences then shuts off. different from the ETC card reader voice that happens every time i start the car. I've never found the speaker, i've never been able to catch the voice and translate what it says, and i've never found a forum thread that tells me how to reset the warnings. the holes in between the symbols are NOT buttons you can press to reset the warnings. anyone else have this? has the demon lord from Hereditary infected my car?!
    • Would you ever vent this bonnet or will it be unnecessary?
    • Happy new years folks! Wishing you all a successful year of money pit ownership!  So the subframe bushes are out....   Ok, who else has done that job before??  What a C U Next Tuesday of a job that is!  Be glad to not do that again in a hurry! I think I explored every option available to chop the middle section of the bushes out, most of them unsuccessfully! I tried a holesaw, die grinder, normal drill bit, air chisel, etc, etc. The true success happened by accident when I'd decided to try a step drill I spotted on the bench on the way passed.  See, there are benefits to never cleaning up after yourself! It RIPPED through so so much better than the drill bit. It has to be the skinniest one available so its small enough to fit between the inner tube and outer casing but it made easy work of it.  First one i hammered the shit out of... New method- 20250102_185506.mp4   I did the other 5 in less time than I fluffed around with the first one. With the first couple I used the cut off saw (sawsall as the yanks love to call them) to cut a break in the outer casings. Even with that they're still a prick to hammer or air chisel out.  The last few i just went rambo with the air chisel without cutting them. I over cut one of the early ones so will hit the with the mig to fill the cut then sand it off smooth.  The carnage left over-   I've also been "nesting" ie, cleaning up my babies nursery,  ie cleaning the f**king pig sty of a shed. I've got that much shit laying around it's as cluttered as my head!  Getting things put away, in boxes, on shelves, hanging off walls, all to get some working space back again.  Hopefully that keeps me motivated....
    • AFAIK does the base map for Haltech even have the 4D compensation enabled? It's been a while but when I looked at it I remember it was actually using pure TPS as one load signal and MAP for another. Seemed workable but not ideal by any stretch. A lot of people have "make the event-itis" which leads to stuff like this happening.
