also is it just me or did james allen have some particularly bad verbal dihoreaha last night? he would waffle on for f**king minutes at a time without so much as a breath. and he was usually talking f**king nonsense while martin brundle could not get a word in edgeways. I mean, he is always pretty bad but last night was the pits. he wouldn't shut up and it's so frustrating when action is happening and you want to know what exactly is going on and he is f**king ranting away like some senile old man about some unimportant little piece of trivia or some other bullshit. either that or he's crapping on about how wonderful louise is and how he's practically senna re-born. f**king senile old fart should be shown the door.

hahah so true. Not to mention the fact that they both seem to be oblivious as to whats going on so many times during the race...I'm in my lounge room watching the same or less camera angles etc, while they're actually at the track, and they still seem to be missing the most obvious shit...Last nights example was HK stalling on the grid....'Who is that?'

Well lets see...who was driving a f**king McLaren and qualified in 4th place? It wasn't Takuma Sato....

Happens every race...they seem to be a few kicks behind the play while even I (and I'm no expert) know exactly who it is and whats going on as its happening with only what iTV cameras are showing me...

Anybody else not hear Mike Gascoyne in his first interview from the pit wall 10 or so laps in?

ITV seemed to have got the feed but I heard nothing for a good 1 or 2 minutes

Yeah...at first I had no idea what was going on with the long silences, till he asked the next question and it happened again...

Right.

You guys are beyond it. :)

Raikkonnen IS a f**king noob. :P It was one of the dumbest things hes ever done- and hes done a LOT of dumb things - Mr world champion stuffed his Ferrari into the back of poor old Sutils car because he f**king lost the thing. Oh suuure, REAL WDC qualities there...

I dont hear anyone crying for his blood...but i am. Bloody arrogant bastard. If it was the other way around Ferrari would have been squealing like stuck cops.

Where are all the KR haters?

Alonso also dropped it, not only in the race on 2 separate occasions but also binned that shitbox renault in practice.

Where are the FA hates?

Nope. Youre all hammo haters.

Everyone in the paddock agrees Raikkonen administered a noob maneuver to end all his noob maneuvers... Mike gascoyne said it BEST.

"While the German later spoke phlegmatically of the "disappointment", Mike Gascoyne, the team's Technical Director, bitterly condemned the World Champion's driving.

"Raikkonen always looked like doing stupid and in the end he did," the 'Rottweiler' barked. "If that was the other way around, and it was a little Force India driver hitting the World Champion, then he would be facing a one- or two-race ban. We've asked the stewards to take a look and act accordingly."

"

The thing that pisses me off most about KR's and Ferraris nonchalance is the fact that that may well be F.I's only chance EVER to get a point and the "WDC", with all the elegance of a sledgehammer, f*kin robbed them of it. Well done.

At least, by some sweet justice, KR left with a big fat ZERO and Hammo took the lot. Now LH is back in the lead.

Just racing?? Bullshit. You can bet your top dollar that had F.I. done that to Ferrari, they wouldve been caned.

Now...im all warmed up after that...

First of all, you bash Hamilton because he landed the best seat in the paddock without your idea of doing it tough. LOFL, you guys think youre actually capable of doing the things he does. Alright then chaps, seeing as its so easy for you to bash the guy - and remember hes only 22 - it should be just as f**king easy for you to drive the car as well as he does.

Secondly, you are all focusing on the fact that you dont like his personality. Who gives a shit what his personality is like? If youre into that sort of thing, go watch days of our lives or something. When teh helmet goes on, all the bullshit stops. You wanna hate on the guy when hes out of the cockpit.

You wanna hate about his driving>> bring it.

Im not gonna waste another minute of my time getting into discussions about his personality FFS.

You wanna hate on the guy because ITV wants to blow him. Everyone in the world wants that to stop. Geez, talk about putting someone on a pedestal...but remember clearly, Its a pretty damn tough life to live when the media is building you up like that. When Hamilton moved to Switzerland to get away from the badgering press, All of f**king England cried foul. Lol, cant a guy get a moments peace>?

I couldnt give two flying shits what you think of his "personality" tbch///

You wanna talk about his driving for a change??

Personalities is what gives us something to talk about sure, but thats garbage compared to what goes on on track...and im not one for gossip.

Rant over.

Right.

Ah where to begin...

Raikkonen punished? Laughable. He made a driver error and Sutil was unfortunate enough to be in the path of a car that was not going to stop. Simple as that. Did he choose to drive into the back of Sutil in order to take him out of the race? It was a racing incident and you and Mike Gascoyne are both morons if you think otherwise :)

It's a disaster for Force India as they were minutes away from a 4th or 5th place, but shit happens, and it did. Of course AS and the team will be devastated, but they know its racing. The team owner knows his driver showed great potential and that the team did a great job to get the car to where it was. It's unfortunate that it didn't result in points, but thats the way it goes...

I dare say there will be very few KR haters, as he isn't a snot nosed spoiled brat, and doesn't come across as an arrogant f**k, nor does he complain that the world is against him and that any win he gets is due to his sheer brilliance. He also had to put up with a McLaren that was basically incapable of completing a race, which probably cost him a real shot at the WDC.

I'd also bet there are a lot less Alonso haters these days as he's a changed man.

Hamilton put it into the wall...or did you miss that part?

As for you telling everyone they should be able to get into the car and drive it like him, perhaps if we were all spoon fed from birth we too would be capable of driving like that...

Won't waste my time with the rest of your post

Dezz,

Again, its coming down to driver personality. lol, KR in a strip club, falling off a boat plastered...just the kind of role model everyone needs when theyre growing up...

KR's mistake was the stuff of Noobs. Its NOT the kind of mistake we expect to see from a WDC. Im surprised Sutil didnt deck Raikkonen for being such a dick. MS on TS at Spa anyone? TS deserved that whack across the head for being such a twit and wrecking both their races. Why dont we start calling KR a crasher?

Ofcourse i saw LH put it in the wall. Yes it was lucky he got out of that. You cant take the win away from him and theres only one thing thats better than a guy winning Monaco and that a guy who does it in the wet and that after putting it in the wall at the start of the race.

He drove a great race. Cmon, give credit where credit is due.

For you to even suggest that we would be capable of the same feats is laughable.

yep, me too.

Sorry, I forgot Hamilton is sent from above and walks in the shadow of Senna.

Dont hate on me for liking the guy! I cant stand the way they bang on about LH either!

He is NOT Senna and the comparison is ridiculous...i completely agree.

He drove a great race.

I could be blind but I haven't read anyone saying that? :P except you keep bringing it up for some reason?

I can't drive a greasy stick up a dogs arse. if I could I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you clowns that's for sure. I'd be out testing my F3 car today as it's nice weather.

Dezz was saying if we were all "spoon fed" like LH was - not that i agree with that - ( you could very well say then that everyone in the Red Bull driver program is "spoon fed" )

then we'd all be capable of the same.

Thats why i brought it up BB.

as for kimi, sure it was bitter punishment for sutil. I really feel for the guy. it was made even worse by the fact that millions of people have now seen him cry like hakkinen. BUT it was a racing incident. kimi lost it waaaay before the corner and he was a long way back from sutil, he was not trying to make a move and then lost it, and no way did he do it on purpose to take sutil out. he just f**ked up and came sliding down the hill right up sutil arse. I'm sure kimi is spewing too as those points would have come in very handy. the only winner in all that is webber!

GO WEBBER! the wdc is just a few rungs up the ladder mate. go for it. LOL.

ahhh. wakarimashita. :P

Like him all you want, but don't tell me or anyone else not to hate him.

S'all good Dezz...Im not hatin on your love for FA, KR and FM...

I like em too but damn theyve also made some stupid stupid mistakes and we should be impartial..

Well..at least try to be... :P

So Hamilton's mistake was a sensible one because it paid off?

You say Raikkonen's error was the noob error to end all noob errors....At least he has the excuse that he had cold tires/brakes etc...Hamilton was pretty much on his own when he slapped the wall.

It broke my heart to see Sutil like that. Its not every day you see a tail end battler ripping up the big guns...and it was great stuff to watch/

I watched his onboard and he was silky smooth even in those conditions. That one lap removed all doubt about his skillz in teh wet - and hes a deft hand at this Monaco business. remember last year in Practice - faster than anyone.

In stark contrast, so many of the other onboards showed drivers spinning it up, sliding sideways but AS was clean and controlled.

I like.

KR right now...i dont like.

All right.. well "to end all Noob moves" was too strong. Im not gonna defend Hamiltons mistake either..actually i dont know what brought it on...was that LH's Mac that slid right into the wall at the swimming pool?

In any case, He didnt put another driver out of the race and thats a completely different ball of wax.

    • Finally had these painted and fitted and pleased with the result. also managed to source 400R fender badges.
    • who can tell me what this is and why my car talks to me? i think it's hilarious. it's on my r34 right above the drivers-side storage compartment. the characters under the wrench say "inspection". every 10 or 20 startups, a voice starts talking in japanese from some speaker in this area below the dashboard. it says a few sentences then shuts off. different from the ETC card reader voice that happens every time i start the car. I've never found the speaker, i've never been able to catch the voice and translate what it says, and i've never found a forum thread that tells me how to reset the warnings. the holes in between the symbols are NOT buttons you can press to reset the warnings. anyone else have this? has the demon lord from Hereditary infected my car?!
    • Would you ever vent this bonnet or will it be unnecessary?
    • Happy new years folks! Wishing you all a successful year of money pit ownership!  So the subframe bushes are out....   Ok, who else has done that job before??  What a C U Next Tuesday of a job that is!  Be glad to not do that again in a hurry! I think I explored every option available to chop the middle section of the bushes out, most of them unsuccessfully! I tried a holesaw, die grinder, normal drill bit, air chisel, etc, etc. The true success happened by accident when I'd decided to try a step drill I spotted on the bench on the way passed.  See, there are benefits to never cleaning up after yourself! It RIPPED through so so much better than the drill bit. It has to be the skinniest one available so its small enough to fit between the inner tube and outer casing but it made easy work of it.  First one i hammered the shit out of... New method- 20250102_185506.mp4   I did the other 5 in less time than I fluffed around with the first one. With the first couple I used the cut off saw (sawsall as the yanks love to call them) to cut a break in the outer casings. Even with that they're still a prick to hammer or air chisel out.  The last few i just went rambo with the air chisel without cutting them. I over cut one of the early ones so will hit the with the mig to fill the cut then sand it off smooth.  The carnage left over-   I've also been "nesting" ie, cleaning up my babies nursery,  ie cleaning the f**king pig sty of a shed. I've got that much shit laying around it's as cluttered as my head!  Getting things put away, in boxes, on shelves, hanging off walls, all to get some working space back again.  Hopefully that keeps me motivated....
    • AFAIK does the base map for Haltech even have the 4D compensation enabled? It's been a while but when I looked at it I remember it was actually using pure TPS as one load signal and MAP for another. Seemed workable but not ideal by any stretch. A lot of people have "make the event-itis" which leads to stuff like this happening.
