Ahh... "TAKU TAKU TAAAKUUUUU!!!!"

If this years race was anything like last years we are up for a real cracker.

Lets see if teh Koob can try and kill himself again..

Honestly tho..it must f**k with your head.. He be going around thinking - oh look, theres still crater sized holes in the grass...and look there, the wall still has a whole bunch of dents in it where i hit it at 300...

Surely this time around his speed will be affected..?

I reckon the marshal that was at the impact point has asked to be posted to a different point on the track, lol

hmmm...

So i reckon Massa is looking good for the win here. Kimi looks to be in a slump, and comapred to last year Ferrari have a significant advantage over the inexperienced Mclarens of this year. So Purely on that basis, im voting for the 3rd world criminal to make it home first.

yep, kubi will be on the podium next to webber. no doubt.

Well.. D day is tomorrow.

Im sure most of you hacks havent read the fine print or given a damn about the implications but this is a pretty serious thing.

I want The "whip" to go as much as the next Journo - even "appliance white" Berns has had a gut-full but these things - decisions i mean on what happens to Mosley- can have distinct and serious ramifications for motoring clubs around the world. Which means us lucky pundits - me for the JAF and you guys for the AAA will have less clout when it comes to decisions being made for us citizens legally through the governments on behalf of the motoring clubs.

Theyre not just there to offer you road side assistance you know...

Concerning.

Mr Mclaren need more of ze punishment Mosley has today become the latest recipiant of the 'what goes around, comes around' adage and the emotinal rollercoaster he must be on makes me happy deep down inside.

his sphere of influence MAY keep him in power, but i think everybody knows he really carries no more weight with his position and it wiould be a farce to keep him any longer that is absolutely necessary

sack the bastard before he does anymore damage

The AAA is Australias peak motoring organization Richard. The AAA is there to support all road users - road wise. Cams is the motorsports arm but the AAA have called for Mosleys head.

Edited because of stupid oversights.

Richard, read this...

"Since its birth in 1904, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, the FIA, has been dedicated to representing the interests of motoring organisations and motor car users throughout the world. It is also the governing body of motor sport worldwide.

This combination of road and track gives the FIA a unique responsibility as an indenpendent word body concerned with a wide range of automotive, motoring and mobility issues.

The FIA is a non-profit making association which brings together 222 national motoring organisations from 130 countries on five continents. Its member clubs represent over 100 million motorists and their families. This is a powerful mandate which the FIA is proud to defend. On issues such as safety, mobility, the environment and consumer law the FIA actively promotes the interests of motorists at the United Nations, within the European Union and other international bodies."

so then what on earth are you talking about? what impact is mosleys departure going to have on the AAA? (i'm genuinely curious) and what impact does the AAA have on motorsport in aus? and if you aren't talking about motorsport then what are we doing in the motorsport section. :D

I never said CAMS was part of the FIA. CAMS is the peak governing body of motorsport in australia. that is all. they are the motorsport delegate of the FIA in this country.

sure the AAA represents the nrma, racv etc and it's members and I guess all road users, but they are so far out of touch it's not funny. as best I can tell they have very little impact on my motoring life apart from often frustrating support of nanny state style laws. and again, they have 9/10ths of bugger all to do with racing and motorsport which is what I thought we were on about?

interesting

Whether he was punted out of the race by Kimi Raikkonen or not, Adrian Sutil would not have banked five points at the recent Monaco Grand Prix.

It has emerged that, although the young German was merely reprimanded by stewards for earlier overtaking under yellow flags in the Monte Carlo race, the FIA representatives would have taken different action had the Force India driver actually reached the chequered flag.

Sutil was in tears after the Raikkonen crash, and his team bosses claimed that the reigning world champion's driving error cost Force India several million dollars for the lost points.

But according to the Swiss newspaper Blick, Sutil would have been demoted out of the points even if he had finished.

Steward Paul Gutjahr confirmed: "We would have had to give him a 25-second penalty, because he overtook three cars under yellow flags after the Alonso-Heidfeld collision at the hairpin."

A 25-second penalty would have dropped Sutil from fourth to at least 10th place.

lol that is funny. but at least half of it is true. I only remember because one of those cars he passed was webber who was stuck behind the tool alonso.

and none of it changes the fact he cried like hakkinen reborn!
