Look, im just not convinced by NPKJR.

If it wasnt for Renaults stupid decision to fuel Gonzo light, he would have finished way ahead of PK.

Look at the quali results. PK is getting absolutely caned and hasnt really shown racecraft worthy of that seat. He has tested well, but look at how hes choking in the race seat.

His dad he certainly is not.

But yeah its great to get some famous names in the sport - a rite of passage surely if you have Shcumacher, Pique, Senna or Rosberg as a family name...

I'm not convinved rosberg is all that hot shit. he didn't look so flash next to webber at williams in 06. webber well and truly had his measure, even though it was a crap year all round for williams.

I agree with adam, hambo's dad is indeed a small fish in a big pond. plus I just don't think he's as smart as he thinks he is.

I also agree with troy on webber Vs Vettel. webber will need to give young vettel a spanking if he hopes to step up.

and why is kimi leaving ferarri? and where can he go that will be as good? surely not back to mclaren... and outside for ferarri and mclaren there is a big gap to the next team.

The one thing that i like about Kimi is that he can cut the sport off regardless off the trappings and the money.

He truly doesnt give shit and im not going to hate on him if he decides to leave - Hes always been above the sport in that regard and thats pretty admirable.

The fame hasnt gotten to him one bit.

And chase women, get drunk at the strippers etc etc with his mates

PK Jr is doing ok. You have to think the driver people are comparing him to, his team mate is perhaps the best driver on the grid. Easily one of the best two. Last year Lewis was even stevens with him because he had the car and team under him. Its a lot harder to debut in a car that is nowhere near as competitive and have to fight it. Even Alsono aat the starty of the year said the car was shitful to drive. It seems with development this year the car is coming to PK Jr, which coincides with him getting more experience and race craft over a GP weekend

I am having a bet on Webber this weekend also.

The bet is that on lap 14 he will spin the car into a sandtrap from P8.

It is like F1s version of Cluedo. You pick the lap, the cause of retirement and the position from which he retires. If he actually ever finishes a race the prize jackpots.

I just wish someone would give him a good car that he doesn't need to overdrive so much.

You dont see Alonso throwing the car away so often even when the Renault is an utter dog to get moving...

Webber is good...i cant help but feel hes not WDC good.

He has never really proved he can race for position as he very often gets overtaken when the pressures on. Hes a bit like Trulli used to be when he was taking a nap in the middle stint.

Webber is though by far and away the toughest mo fo on the grid - spew in the helmet and 3rd degree burns on the ass are all testament to that.

Aussie grit at its best.

if kimmi wins this WDC this year, its fairly certain that he'll retire at the end of his contract...Hamilton however, will probably stay on many years and trying break Schumey's record.

Thats the thing about Kimi - he doesnt give a toss about those things...

Cant blame a driver who does, but Kimi definitely couldnt care less and it shows.

yep and as monotonous as his interviews are, I'm going to miss that "I don't give a shit, I was taking a crap" attitude when he does retire.

yeah no one likes driving with a burny botty. apparently he couldn't sit down for a long time after that one. webber is one of those guys that's impossible to dislike. he nice, modest, funny, has massive jaw, drives hard, says what he means. but for f**ks sake someone give the man a drive so we can find out if he really does have what it takes.

i reckon all those years at maclaren when he kept getting just pipped for the WDC by schuey took a bit out of kimi. I would say he feels he should have won his first WDC quite some years ago.

None of that matters apart from the massive jaw.

What else has Webbo been through in the cockpit..?

Didnt he dehydrate or something when the drink failed like a dozen times?

Imagine having to drink hot piss when your at 300kph...

Fark me i cant even imagine how he managed to get that far into Fuji with a mouthful of spew... how the hell do you chunder and do 300kph????

Webber = champion.

But i dont think a better car will make much difference though Richo.

Come on Adam, have you forgotten the past few races already? I have come to like ALonso mroe then i ever thought i would. But have you seen his efforts in Monaco, Canada and France? He has been making mistakes, silly mistakes tryign to bridge the performance gap of the car. He has thrown away some very good ppoints scoring opportunities this year

This is true.

I shouldnt have made a direct comparison with Alonso but youve got to admit, Webber has never really quite looked like he was going to crack the big one...

Its a shame really and Im not sure if we should be completely looking forward to the Vette / Webbo clash because the Vette might put him into a perpetual retirement...

If thats the case so be it. I doubt any professional athlete has a problem with beign beaten by another athlete. If they do it inspires them to improve and lift their game. No doubt if Webber is beaten by Vettel he wont take it lying down, so he can only further improve. The old saying about competition and making you stronger.
