Those are legal type as they are bolted on to the wheel hub, then the wheel is bolted on to the aluminum spacer.... Checked with 4 qualified road worthy centre without any problem!

Thickness: 25mm

PCD: 114.3

Suits: Nissan models and any car with the same PCD

only used for NEARLY 1.5 weeks as I am using the smaller ones now (15mm) and going for larger tyres.... condition = PERFECT and it improves the handling A LOT! They are quite expensive initially (costed me 450 a pair)... but going for 250 a pair....

Here is the pic of the spacer... you will know how it looks like...

they said it is illegal ONLY if it is a FLOATING type spacer which is not secured between the wheel and the hub! So if it is the type that you can secure it firmly without falling out when you take your wheel off, those are the legal type!

So when you ask around at the road worthy centre, tell them that it is NOT the FLOATING spacer that will fall out when you take your wheel off!

Just want to make that clear! because not all type of spacers are legal!

cheers,

A spacer such as this that bolts onto the wheel studs is legal in NSW. I have them on my car and they were made after consultation with a RTA signatory.

but also be aware that you cannot legally increase your wheel track past a certain amount. I think this is 25mm overall in NSW.

Well their called blocks not spacers and are priced at around 850 each new. I should know, as i have them.

They are illegal as they changed the distance between your wheels, and Regency said this is illegal.

In NSW this type of spacer is not illegal but remember the rules are different in each state.

You are allowed to increase your track width, but I only think the limit is +25mm overall in NSW.

To cut a long story short - the reason I can use them is because I changed my braking system, stud pattern and wheels all at the same time. The spacers were needed to bring the wheel track out to the previous measurement. Its also not a skyline.

To Enrico,

Just because REGENCY say theyre illegal doesnt mean that they are actually illegal, they say that to many issues and are in fact wrong (and iLLEGAL in so saying ).The whale tale porche for example has these supplied from the the factory on an adr approved car and then there are other issues such as coilovers that are not listed any where in the adr's as being illegal,

I can understand the loose ones being illegal, and would be wary of going overly big with the bolt on ones anyway????

Regards,

SKYLINE (Kym)...... :)
