after puting the engine in my car with the nismo twin plate (standard nissan fork and release bearing) i noticed that the fork is jammed right up and i cannot get the on slave cylinder on at all.

now this raises the question are you meant to fit this clutch with a differant fork or release bearing or something, and where can these items be purchased from as they are not off the shelf nissan.

any help would be great

thankx

you need to use a GTiR bearing carrier. The clutches usually come supplied with them. They are common and most workshops will have a few laying around i know i got about 3 or 4 in the garage as spares for our cars.

Did it come with the wire spring to hold the two clutches in place ? If they slipped during install that might be the problem. I had a workshop destroy my clutches and both of them had to be replaced because they didnt use the locating spring.

It is a pity that the ORC twin that I bought didn't come with carrier and bearing.

interesting..... i have sold maybe 20 ORC/BLITZ clutches and ALL came with the carrier and bearing.

this is a pic i found off google of the gtir bearing carrier and a pic of the clutch i have off nengun, both bearing carriers look very similar.

so could any of you guys confirm that this is all i need to make my clutch work???

do you use this WITH the standard release bearing, or replace it completely with the bearing carrier.

sorry just havent come across this problem before and dont understand it completely

thanks.
