hi. does anyone have one of those tiny ~2hp air compressors and use it with a rattle gun? if so, is it any good? like is it strong enough for wheel nuts? thanks

You need to check what the cfm output of the compressor and the cfm required to power the rattle gun.

Mate the much better option is to use something like a 600mm breaker bar with the appropriate socket or hex end.

This will be a lot less harsh on your wheel nuts that impact tools usually are, they will still get the nuts plenty tight & you'll have the advantage, as long as you carry it in the car of course, of never finding yourself in the situation that you can't get the wheel off because the impact gun has done it up way too firmly to be able to remove it with the brace supplied with most cars as std equipment.

you shouldn't use a rattle gun to do tyres up unless you know its been calibrated to 110nm. too tight and you can stretch or break your wheel studs.
