That will most likely be how the catch can vents, instead of having a filter on the top like most of them, it would also act as and overflow incase your catch can ever fills right up, instead of the oil spraying all over your engine bay it would spray out the pipe and underneath the car.

lol somone was bad. assuming the other end goes to your cam cover breathers, the one you are looking at is the atmo breather (illegal). but normally atmo breathing catch cans have a little air filter on them to catch as much oil as possible - yours is just venting oily air onto your front tyres.

just grab a little air filter from superdoopercheap at put it there instead of the hose

Ok thanks alot Guys for the help,

One more little question, If you do a oil change and change brands of oil do you need to empty the catch can because the oils will mix? Or is it ok because it does not feed back to the engine?
