Higher Boost In Higher Gears?

when i bought my car and it came with a boost tap. never touched it, and the guy before me had it on standard boost. 0.7 bar, 10psi. my boost guage reads 0.7 bar in 2nd gear (fullboost), 0.75 bar in 3rd and 0.8 bar in 4th. could it be because the engine is making more exhaust gases in higher gears as its under more load??? wild shot.. but i duno why else it could be doing it.

should i just leave it, or is it worth chasing up?

yep, pneumatic bleed valves usually do that to some extent. does it taper back down higher in the rev range?

nah, it seems to stay like that, but will check tomorrow.
