Really Really Need Suggestions: Replacing Stock Turbo

Hello

I blew my turbo on my r32 gts-t and I am replacing it with a used stock one. I might have Nissan do it. My friends said that they would help me change it but I am wondering if I should let Nissan do this. Also what else should I check for when I change the turbo? Should I clean the turbo first, do I need to do a oil flush after this?

Nissan dont know a thing in reality.

Your FAR better off talking to a workshop that specialises with imports and getting them to do the work.

If your friends are mechanically minded and know what they are doing, then its pretty straight forward and logical.

But if you arent that way minded, then i would leave it to a workshop personally.

I am in Japan. I live close to the Nissan factory. But I want to make sure to do it correctly. The Nissan people suggested that I change some of the hoses and gaskets when I install the new turbo. My friend said that when I intall the used turbo, I should do another engine oil flush. Is this the way to do it?

Help please!!!!!!!!

Your in japan?! ... bro i thought everyone in japan would specialize in this? thats where our skylines come from? lol but yeh its pretty straight forward man, make sure all the gaskets are right, and sealed in . It might be hard to take out the boltz that are connected to your turbo that screw in,they could rusted... since our skylines are 1994-1998 its bit long so yeh spray some WD40 or something and you should be fine

Ok cool, I have a 91 so I will use the WD40. People special in this, but there is a place where I can go that has a garage and tools and people who can help me put the turbo in myself, but I wanted to make sure that it is a job doable by non Nissan people.

Plus it will be much much cheaper than having Nissan do it.

Do I need to do another oil change when I do this?
