Real Time Gps Gprs Gsm Car Tracker Alarm Tracking

Okay guys, as requested I'm organising a group buy for this unit. I just discussed it with the manufacturer thinking that I could get a better discount for a batch of 10 units, but they said they'd only offer a discount if I bought 100 of them! But obviously I don't wanna spend ages and going through the headache of trying to organise a group buy of 100 people. But with an order of 10 units at a time, we can still save a little bit on the shipping. So the group buy is open from now for around a month. Just PM me your order and I'll supply you with my bank details for the payment. The price is $275 for the group buy, it will take around 2 weeks or slightly more from the day the order was placed. For those who want them now, you can buy the ones that I have now for $295. Local pick-up is welcome (Sydney) and registered postage Australia-wide from my place to you all is $18 (on top of the purchase price). Need 10 confirmed orders for this to go ahead. A small investment for your expensive asset. The unit can be easily moved from one car to another, say if you decide to sell your car later on or if you just want to get one unit for several cars.

Here are the details again:

Real-time GPS GSM GPRS Tracker. It can be used for tracking vehicles, boats and any other movable targets. All you need to do is send a simple SMS with your password to the unit, and it will send its current location/coordinates to your mobile phone including its speed if it's on the move, you can then enter the GPS coordinates on online maps such as Google Maps, Google Earth, etc. to find out where it exactly is. In areas where there is no GPS signal, it will send you the location of the nearest GSM Network Switch Center Code and GSM Towers Code which you can also use to find its location. The unit can use any GSM sim card worldwide including prepaid sim cards (I recommend the Vodafone 365-day prepaid sim card since it will only cost you $20 and it's valid for the whole year), and all you have to pay is the cost of sending the SMS, no subscription needed, you are in complete control of it.

Features:

- Built in GSM module (900MHz/1800MHz/1900MHz) and GPS Receiver

- Three mobile phone numbers can be set up as alert targets

- Customisable password protection

- Unique feature, power off alarming alert (eg. if the main power is cut off). The in-built rechargeable battery will take over and the unit will alert you if the main power source is cut off.

- Geofence feature sends alert if the tracker moves outside a pre-defined area

- Enhanced sensitivity for indoor and outdoor reporting. It does not need a direct view of the sky, therefore it can be placed in various hidden areas in your car.

- Can be programmed or re-programmed from your mobile phone with SMS

- Car 12-Volt DC hardwire connector included with a back-up battery built-in.

- Very easy to install. Only two wires to connect, power and earth. You can do it yourself in 5 minutes.

- It also supports GPRS uploading Static IP address and port setup via SMS command that can be activated if you need this advanced feature. Monitoring center SMS Gateway Setup is also available, but you do not have to use these extra bonus features if you don't want to.

- Working voltage is 9-14V DC plus an in-built back-up battery

- The size is 123mm x 116mm x 38mm (very compact) and the total weight is 0.8kg

Among many others, Google Maps are also mostly free and easy to use. Just use this link:

http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

Enter the coordinates there, and that's it. For EXAMPLE: 33.877935 s 151.218958 e

Just copy and paste them.

The unit also comes brand new in a box with GPS and GSM antennas, as well as the instruction manual. Great bargain! Similar units on the market sell for over $750.

Local pick-up is welcome (Sydney)

i pmed the seller about a group buy and he said $260 each

Yes mate, sorry about that. I was thinking that I could squeeze a discount from the manufacturer if I bought more, but I just talked to them and they said no, has to be at least 100 units for a discount (as stated above). What can I do?

They normally deal with wholesalers, not private buyers like us.

Yes it has that sort of feature.

The unit comes to me without any badging from the manufacturer. They also sell it to wholesalers/distributors all over the world, and then the wholesalers/distributors put whatever brand they want on it and mark up the price like crazy.

For FAQ's please refer the other thread:

    • That's true. However, this problem has started since the tuning. First time with the return journey from the tuning. But yes, the pipe was clogged with dirt and rust. That was certainly due to age
    • Great info @tidi0x  Will definitely be handy for others and maybe me if I decide to keep the shit box H pattern.
    • Bumping this up one last time.... I wanted to follow up on the clutch slave issue. I realized that what the issue comes down to is the pocket is flat milled, and the cylinder does not want rest flat. So in order to mount it correctly you will need to make a spacer for the fingers so the cylinder is floating. I took two plates of aluminum, drilled some holes and was good. I did still need to make the relief cuts in the bell housing, as even with the spacer the bleed section still interferes. The OE bell housing the mounting holes are raised from the housing.
    • If the event in USA goes ahead will be interesting as it seems the rules will get more cars over here. Apparently the track is laguna seca too. Yeah s15, if I get a the lower dash trims, centre console and change front cross member to standard LCA position will fit clubsprint. See how rules are as i would rather do complete widebody than a bolt on flare to run the 295 with proper clearance.
    • If the car is legal height I can't see it being an issue. Found a thread on reddit that might offer some insight.   I got a ticket from a copper in QLD for my S15 being too low. They had this wheel thing on a stick that they put under the car and it hit my exhaust. Anyhow went to an exhaust shop to get the exhaust tucked up/hung a little higher and I wound the coilovers up a smidge. Don't think I even had to go back to the police station unlike when I got defected for having a carbon bonnet when I brought the S15 from the ACT to QLD and had to replace it and then rock up at a police station and have a yougish female officer who knew nothing about cars confirm that I had changed bonnets. Should have just painted the carbon bonnet yellow to match the rest of the car lol
