Tolulene fix detonation?

Since i turned the boost up with the 25 turbo on my 20, its starting to detonate, even with a bit of timing backed off. Im going to the drags tonight and was wondering if its worth buying tolulene. Say for example, my fuel pump cant keep up and thats why its leaning out, would running tolulene stop any damage because the pinging stops? Im more than likley going to drop the boost back to 12 psi and turn the timing back to the correct place, but would like to run it like it is.

A 20-25% mix seems to starve of pinging onmy car when im bashing it around the track.

If your happy with the turbo i think it might be time to get the ECU re-written to suit your new fuel pump, turbo, aus fuel etc. Its really the best way to go about getting rid of the pinging problem.

premix the toluene before adding to the tank. ie: add some fuel to it and mix it around

Mate all thats doing is covering up a problem. Get the problem fixed instead of using a bandaid method.
