Group buy 31 closes tonight

Anyone missing out if you can make branch deposit Saturday morning (some banks open half-day) I'll put you in this round.

A $5 donation will be made to SAU forum after this group buy is consolidated and sent to RDA for processing.

Hey any news on the fronts for 34gtt. Can i get a price on the grooved and dinted rotors and sum greenstuff or redstuff to bathurst 2795 nsw. the car is a daily driver but will be dong the ocasional supersprint and track days now. which pad would u recomend would b beter my friend has the grooved and dinted in his 33 with reds and he says is a bit squelly when cold is that normal 4 these pads thanks

Raps86, I need an assistance from R34 GTT owners as we do not have any test mule car to play with. We are guessing that R34 GTR rotors (324mm) can be machined down to 310mm to fit R34 GTT.

However we need a willing R34 GTT owner to pull off their existing brake rotors and measure the size of the hub where the hole at the back of the rotor fits over the hub. R34 GTR has it around 130mm, if the R34 GTT is the same or smaller it can be made to fit, however if the R34 GTT is bigger then we have a problem.

If that can be confirmed, then RDA can machine them all down to 310mm and work out the pricing.

Also in Group buy 31, anyone ordering rear redstuff pads for R34 GTT, R33 Gtst, R32 Gtst there will be a delay as the rear DP3826 will be restocked by next Tuesday. Anyone else not affected will get their pads/rotors soon.

Also regarding the pads, it'll be between red or yellow depending how often you track them.

Yellow is better for more trip to the track and can be driven on the highway on the trip home, but it is not recommended if you need to spend some time in the car during daily traffic.

Red is better for daily use and occasional track however it is not a circuit pad and therefore you need to be reasonable on the track - most club track day with flying 3-4 laps are normally not aggressive enough to destroy these, if your circuit format requires more aggressive approach (e.g. semi competition) then might worth investing in 2 pads: yellow for the track and a minimum green for daily driving.

ok if i get time 2morrow ill put my car up on the hoist and get the mesurements for u and post up here 4 u. also with the pads the cars mainly around town and in regards 2 the track time id b lucky 2 get 2 the track twice a year for either sau events at wakefield park or sum speed of the street events. would the reds b suitable 4 this

Any update on availability of slotted front rotors for R34 GT-t?

I'm going to buy a new set of rotors for my skyline whether it be here or genuine at the end of this week

Edited by Yo-Yo

hey i had time 2 pull the rotor off at work 4 u 2day the hub is 134mm i took sum photos and sorta got the mesurments writen in 4 u if u need other mesurements let me know. hope this helps. as u can notice with the last photo the hat of the rotor goes out past where the hub sit so i wonder if the gtr r the same and able 2 use them.

    • looking forward to your t56 swap man its a game changer if it works!
    • So, when are you trying the new GR86 or BRZ?
    • Uncle Duncan Yeap, FI Interchiller  Works well, normal IAT's cruising with the WTA only went from 50°c+ to 25-30°c with the interchiller  Before, when on it hard, the IAT would see 80-90°c, now, the highest has been was around 38°c IIRC IAT is measured under the blower hat I recommend it for the street or strip where your only on it hard for 10 or so seconds, but it wouldn't be efficient for sustained track use as it would heat soak from the AC turning off or whatever it does during WOT to protect the compressor It really needs the AC running for it to not heat soak and keep the WTA coolant chilled My WTA coolant temps when just cruising is around 2°c
    • Hey Mark...sorry to interrupt your career change to hair dressing... but...did you ever fit the interchiller to the commodore, and if so how was it? And, who made it?
    • I've been pondering this, I really enjoy the convertible thing, for me, it's like riding a motorbike, without all the issue of riding a motorbike, mainly, my old sore arthritic joints getting beaten up, and, being able to do it in shorts and a T-shirt and not needing a helmet and all the other gear required, especially like wearing jackets and pants in the summer, or needing 6 layers of cloths in the winter, or not having wet weather gear handy when your 100km away from home on the bike when it decides to start raining As for the hard top and its Coupe look, whilst I do lose all that open top feeling that I really enjoy, from my experience with the NB with a detachable hard top, the cabin is a much nicer place to be, the difference in noise for one, a hard top quietens down the interior, alot, with the soft top up or down it's pretty noisy, which, after 5 or so hours, can get tiring But, as you stated, the detachable hard top totally changes the look of the car, in a really good way, and for me, the look of a detachable hard top is so much better than the PRHT which looks more like a after thought with its weird bulbous rear roof line For me, the minimal effort of putting in on, or storing it after removing it, is well worth the time and effort for the look alone And yes, I'm sure the next owner will be grateful for it as well.......
