Question About A Little Scenario I Have...

Hi all

Was hoping someone could answer this simple question :

I have 1 bottle of 4L Motul 300v 10W40, an another bottle containing exactly 800mL of the same oil - totalling 4.8L.

NOW

I have a bottle of the turbolight stuff (also 10W40) lying around that I never got around to using. The question is - can I use .2L of the turbolight oil mixed with the 300v to bring the total to the required 5L?

Will 200ml of turbolight really make any difference to the purity of the fully synthetic 300v?

does it need 5L? my old rb20 only took 4.2L

i would imagine you would be fine mixing oils, it is no different to using a bottle of oil additive

the RB26 uses more oil than an RB20
