Walbro Pump Issues

Hey Guys,

Bought a fuel pump off the site not long ago, bought a brand new Walbro GSS-342 which was going to be sufficent for my needs. Now i got the pump today and put it in, secured it all up connected all the wiring to positive and negative terminals and put the pump back in. Tried getting fuel in the lines but it just wouldnt seem to want to pump. So i played around with it for about an hour trying to work out if i had a blocked line or something and it was all clear.

So i put in my old pump again to see if that cured the problem and it sure did send fuel through the lines, now i connected it correctly and the pump makes noise on prime but no petrol gets into the pump itself to send to the engine.

Is the pump faulty? or am i just mentally handicaped and missed a step?
