adznight
Anyone use or have any experience with mass building supplements legal or illegal in Australia? The off the shelf kind from the US etc, not the other kind. macdog
Oh man, I wish I was that tall. I am just taller than Tom Cruiz by an inch. 5ft 7 Yes I have heard short men jokes, like how I can do backflips under my bed and other stuff. Anyway, weighted dips are probably the best workout to increase your bench press power (if done correctly) and is great for triceps. My most favorite workout, kinda feels like I am Adonis lifting (floating) myself out of some primordial soup, then dipping back, repeating the cycle several times. just don't take up that scientology shit alright mate? i tried doing dips on olympic rings tonight, that shit is just fcked... did 4 sets and got about 2 on each one... Trozzle
dips are great i used to do 3 sets of 25. would get dizzy on the last set also a good way to get your chest and arms pumped up before you head out I find that 3 sets 20-25 reps of pushups with my feet on the couch (1m high) will give the best pre-outing pump I could ever want. nohomo. It's a Jersey thing. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/69/#findComment-5802976 Share on other sites

adznight
I take it you're talking roids??? Haha, not quite. http://www.lyonsproteinsource.com/MST_Labs_Infamous_p/mstinfamous.htm They are not legal in Australia as the Australian Drug and Alcohol regulatory body has not approved them but the FDA in the states has cleared them. In saying that, the FDA will clear anything with the right amount of cash backing. As you can see, they are an off the shelf mass building supplement. Same effects as a steroid, an enhanced anabolic state but they are simply capsules. Obviously the effects are not as great as an injectable product but I'm not into that shit, that's a bit too hardcore plus I don't need the side effects etc. Was just curious if anyone else has used them? I've done two cycles on these, I'm at the end of my second and I've seen good solid mass gains. They really dry you out and I feel great. Good solid strength gains too. You'll find with injectables, the side-effects are less profound, overall the compounds are less toxic on your liver and kidneys. Birds
Curiously, who here is juicing? There are some people open to saying so...but I don't understand why a lot of people don't like admitting to it, especially around their gym mates. It seems to be a very personal thing, excluding the legality issues of certain substances. Well, the people at my gym who I know are using, will usually not admit to it or talk much about it, other than to their sources. I mean, isn't that a form of self acknowledgement that you're not doing things "by the natural book" so to speak? Or is it just a case of the public consensus being that steroids are bad, therefore they don't want to have a negative light shone on them by admitting to using? I personally don't have a problem with people using steroids - I rationalise that they are just like any other gym supplement or practise you do to try and get big, they're just not for me personally. But I do dislike it when people proclude them from their list of supplements they attribute towards their getting big, as if they are embarrassed about it or they want to take a little more credit than they actually deserve for getting to where they are (do not read this as me thinking roid users don't have to put in the hard yards, simply saying that they would not get to where they are and that quickly without them). Yeah you make a good point mate. It really depends on what injectable you're talking about specifically though hey. There is some nasty shit out there and some nice stuff, hell if I could afford some good HGH I'd bang it for sure Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/69/#findComment-5804128 Share on other sites

adznight
i havent used that ^ but have used No-xplode and superpump 250. Both really good and saw solid gains but they give me bubble guts bigtime These are both nitric oxide pre-workout supplements and very different. They are pre workout formula's and usually stimulant based. They are designed more for energy and vascularization rather than true "mass" gains. The are usually bases on Amino's like Beta-Alenaine. 1MR as an example has got 300mg of caffeine coupled with Beta-A - that will seriously pump you up! I had trouble sleeping some nights after serious sessions. I use them also, I've used Dymatize Energized Xpand, Jack3D, 1MR and I'm currently using Mesomorph. I like to try different sups and see how they go Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/69/#findComment-5804170 Share on other sites
adznight
Public consensus definitely. i know guys that are using them and no matter how much i hint at them about it they never say a word It's the "needle". There is a stigma attached to having to use a needle. 9/10 people wont have a problem popping a pill but as soon as you have to use a needle, people think differently. My trainer has used, a lot of guys I know at the gym use and openly admit it. NickR33
people forget that steroids don't make you big on their own... they just shorten your recovery time and let you work out more etc... so you still have to be putting the work in, more so in fact... on the other hand testosterone/HGH etc will help you add bulk I have no problem with people using them but they aren't for me... I refuse to spend money on even the most basic supps so no way I'm spending big on PEDs they're mainly for people who have no patience and want to get big quick... or for those seriously big guys who have plateaued and want to go to the next level also working out for a bodybuilder vs strength athlete vs power athlete etc are all very different... take MMA for example, in the old days guys were very big, lots of HGH and roids being used and the looked like BBers... now its gone back the other way and the guys aren't as bulky, partly due to it being harder to get away with PED use but mainly due to the type of strength used and the immense stamina needed so you should be clear as to why your training and what you want out of it... at the end of the day its great to look like a beast on the beach but if its functional strength your after, to perform better at a your chosen sport etc BB isn't the best way to train... just look at Cain Velasquez current UFC heavyweight champ... doesn't have a huge amount of bulk but beat the living shit out of Brock Lesnar who is the size of a house /end pointless rant Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/200767-gym-and-supplement-discussion/page/69/#findComment-5804177 Share on other sites
