Dude really dude?

OMG dude.

you read the 4 lines I wrote and decided to quote that one which started with "My opinion"?

Also, if he didn't care about who much he lifted, why did he post about his gains in strength multiple times?

Yes, yes i did pick the line where you expressed your typical big-headed opinion where you just had to drop in the "doing it wrong" statement, like you're an expert on this topic... hate to get sand up in your vagina too when someone points out how you could be a little less to-the-point

In regards to your second statement about him posting strength gains, he was confirming the typical results of a steroid cycle to answer our curiosity, and I also ASKED for some feedback on that.

Try to be a little more thoughtful with your responses next time Doc.

Recently started taking some Syntec - Ground Zero as a pre-workout.

Tastes delicious and definitely gets you pumped up a bit, haven't tried the more popular ones liked Jack3d so can't really compare as yet.

Beta Alanine kinda shits me a little though, tingles irritate me.

 lifting without the girly 'workout gloves'

People think thats how you avoid calisus but, as you discovered it's easy just to rip them off by lifting heavier ha ha..

An old Navy buddy once told me " gloves are for fags"

.... Not really, principal remains the same :D

Cheers on the comments. Everyone is free to express opinions. Doesn't matter what the topic is, there will always be positive and negative feedback

Now onto pre-workouts. I've used many pre-workouts and have found the best one that worked for me was Jack3d. I've tried non-1,3-Dimethylamylamine products and definitely have to say that it's the stimulant that's doing the job. The problem is you get addicted to it and end up crashing if you miss using it during one of your workouts like I have experienced after using 3 scoops at one stage of Jack3d.

Some people are using it on its own in high doses and are definitely experiencing some unwanted side-effects hence why pre-workouts with DMAA are very small scoops. It's much cheaper buying DMAA on its own. I heard that it's banned or going to be banned in Australia, not sure though. So if your using pure DMAA, beta-alanine and caffeine just be mindful on the doses.

Yep ban is now here, retail stores now being "ordered to clear stock" So if you are into it, i highly recommend to get some.

That said, i still remember Muscletech Acetabolyn i think it was called, was really good, then got recalled. Then acetabolyn II came out.

No doubt Jack 3d will be out again, just will be minus the DMAA, more like an NO Xplode mix.

VspecII i aplaud you for your honestly and sincerity in what can be a controversial issue. Not to say I condone the use of it, but I do appreciate you letting members know your experiences.

Just remember for your benefit these are public forums.

P.S. just read a few articles regarding a lot of aussies going on holiday to Thailand for a "roid holiday" for 6 weeks, the money they save in getting it in Thailand the holiday nearly pays for itself.

Gotta admit (other than the roids) its not a bad idea to spend a holiday, going hard at the gym surrounded by beautiful beaches and cheap shopping and living like a king in beautiful accomodation.

So some young lad had access to the equipment necessary to test protein powders - specifically, their claimed amount of protein.

The results are pretty interesting

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0Ag9uT-E4EIL7dFZPZnR0WVZybGtFWnRKNzdKNm9XOVE&toomany=true#gid=0

All the samples were sent to him by people - so I guess there is a chance that someone might have contaminated the sample but I don't see why you'd bother.

Anyone taking any pea, egg or BOVINE COLOSTRUM protein? (bulknutrients.com.au)

The reason i ask is because they're lactose/gluten free. The reason Im trying to avoid lactose/gluten is because I feel a lot better not having it.

Interesting stuff. Thanks for posting. The only one I've used in that list is Optimum's Gold std 100% whey. Seemed good enough, but was pretty expensive.

Optimum always seem to be the most regularly sold protein and i guess those results confirm why. Still is a little off from what they advertise but good to see some of their products near the top of the ladder, still as mentioned there is a lot of testing control gone astray in those results but interesting nevertheless.

Bodybuilding.com has had optimum as its number 1 protein for yonks now: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/opt/whey.html

Does anyone ever get headaches / hangover feeling from certain proteins or supplements? My favourite brand of all-in-one supplement has changed something about their mixture (hadn't ordered from them for nearly 2 years) - this one smells kind of fishy and clumps up a bit more than the previous mixture, despite the breakdown label and taste being much the same. In the first week of using it I had some slight headaches on and off, but could just be coincidence, I might have had a bug for that week.

I have experienced similar thing (headaches/nausea) but it was caused from urea level being too high from not drinking enough water.

Cell Tech creatine used to do that too me, i would place it down to your body maybe adjusting to it? but if its the same brand then that is strange. Did you say all the values etc are the same? does it contain creatine?

Bit of a different way of looking it at, but how is work? Have you had in recent changes that could cause stress or anxiety? Also irons levels checked lately?

You will be surprised what stress and anxiety can do....

Everything else is static (I live a fairly OCD life), I can't really put it down to anything else but a bug or the protein. It does contain creatine, both versions did. The values are the same maybe +/- 5% variation. There are a couple of new ingredients to the new one, but nothing that stood out to me as a possible determinant, will post them if you think that helps. Will see how I go with it this week.

Whatever dude, stop making excuses for being fat.

    • Also had a look at the Nissan JP website looks like the 400r has a slightly shorter ratio than than the regular V37 3.133 VS 2.937 which from a guy who has driven both 3.69 vs 4.11 ratios in the S15 is bugger all. Seems that the AUTO Z runs the same ratio as the 400R but can't find any info as to if its an open or LSD? More often than not the auto LSD is open
    • Do not replace the power steering lines with this stuff. If it's anything like the Chase Bays stuff it will leak and be worse than stock. The reason why the reservoir is on the LH/passenger side of the car is because that's just where the reservoir was most convenient to fit. Don't overthink this stuff. The intake/cold side of the engine is pretty busy on these cars. And again, the hardpipe is designed to be a janky power steering cooler. In theory you can replace it with a real power steering cooler but that's really only for track use where boiling the fluid is a distinct possibility. Start with the low pressure lines feeding the pump from the reservoir. Make sure there isn't a bunch of junk in the reservoir filter. Be careful to not get ATF all over the engine bay. I hate dealing with ATF spills, you can clean it up and the slightest crevice will still release more oil that can still drip over time. You also want to inspect for leaks before you make a mess and can't tell what happened. Most likely you have a leak somewhere that is allowing fluid out and air in. Failing that it's allowing air in but not fluid out. Only place I can really see that happening is on the low pressure side because the pump will pull a slight vacuum to draw fluid in. Everything after the pump is high pressure or lower pressure, approaching atmospheric by the time it returns to the reservoir.
    • I did a skidpan night at SMSP this week, it was much cheaper than $350. But yeah, you need to slap an LSD in that thing.  I put an OS Giken in the 370Z and it's f**king MARVELOUS even compared to Nissan's viscous LSD. So you're saying it's free now that it's a housing estate? 😂
    • Nah, the car seems to run exactly as it did prior, in saying this it does "seem" to be better down low, like more eager to rev, but that may be 100% placebo effect from intake noise But, I'm not worried about it at all, in the end it is a fairly low compression NA engine that has a well shrouded intake,  if it is getting hotter IAT I cannot notice anything negative performance wise from the seat of my pants thrashing it about on the street or sitting in traffic, so meh, car now now makes induction noise so I'm happy
    • Do you have an IAT sensor? It's worth checking it to see. You may be suprised how little gap you actually need to flood your engine with hot air. (I tape up my airbox for a reason) :p
