markos' email in below link

It is a PDF file Markos emails to you.

His gym results speak for themselves, plus people on here have used it with good success.

It's not your normal bodybuilding.com 6 week transformation though.

However Markos would also be the first to tell you that the results obtained in his gym are not just from the right program and diet ;) Sounds like PPP is similar to 5/3/1

Can somebody recommend a good supplier of semi commercial equipment? In Brisbane would be great, but at the moment the place that I am leaning towards is from Gym Direct in Sydney so anywhere that does a decent price

Looking at getting a full set of dumbbells and a power rack

I was trying to source some stuff from China through www.chinakettlebell.com but am getting inconsistent and very slow responses, and this is before I have handed any money over, so don't want to transfer cash and then wait 6 months to receive goods of questionable/unproven quality.

Cheers, will have a look and get in contact with them

Just so people know specifically what I am after and what price I am looking to beat, these are the two items I am looking at ordering from Gym Direct:

Effort is a big contributor to everything.

It's similar in that they are both a progressive training program, which imo, everyone should do.

PWND - http://www.southsidefitness.com.au/ , local and cheap as FUUURRRRKKKK!! find a cheaper price, print it out, and they will beat/match it, it's all in the negotiation ;)

They look pretty good. Will pop in there in person tomorrow.

So i have had a bet with my mates in the last 4 months, who could get the best abs.

So joined a gym in the last 3 months, was pretty much a 2 month bulk to a 2 month cut

I started at about 73kg, went up to 77kg when bulking and now down to 71.5 kg on a cut

$400 pot with the deadline this Saturday

Progress so far: nohomo

decent progress mate.

need to tan up it will help your abbs shine

also look into getting rid of the water prior to Saturday so you can go in dry and looking even leaner.... just to try and win is all :P

Cheers mate

Think im a bit late for a tan lol unless its a fake one

I read alot about water loading and deloading, carbs loading and what not

Then I watched Layne Nortons video blog on it then decided not to do it :/

You can cut water because you aren't lean if it's just mucking around for a bet.

Layne's point is If you have to cut water for a comp, you just aren't lean enough.

So i just continue as I am and cut water say 4p.m Friday. The 'show' will be 9a.m Saturday

Should I load up on water today and Thurday then?

depends how serious you are about winning

I lost plenty of water weight prior to some mma bouts, but its not as simple as just not drinking - again depending on how serious you are and how much you want to loose.

start loading up on salt with your meals, then 24 hours prior to cut salt completely.

at a minimum id cut water 24 hours prior to the end of the comp and get nice and sweaty. If you can do some cardio which will help get more out. Its old school, it sucks balls, you will hate life, but will work

What do the abs look like front on? And how are your mates going, have you seen their progress?

I'd be drinking alot of water today and a bit tomorrow.

2 other mates are going ok

1 other mate has lost about 15% of his body weight, and he was already pretty lean to begin with  I haven't seen his abs yet though, but he is very competitive

Ill take a pic when I get home from work, don't think it will be as impressive lol

Cheers brah!

Ill give this a shot

I was going to do this. But after watching this video decided not to

But as Jangles said maybe I misinterpreted the video

and when you pose, lean back slightly, it will help bring the abbs out a little more

Will do!

Seriously though, pretty good effort there.

My advice: between now and your showing: eat only chicken breast and broccoli, three times a day. Continue your training, and train lots of volume (9-10 sets per exercise) with heavy weights. Literally bugger yourself so you're too tired to drive home. When you get home do some HIIT sprints.

I don't think it's worth stopping water for, and sometimes abs look fuller when you are hydrated IMO.

Oh and rememeber to stand under the light :P

    • Very decent bit of kit. Definitely black it out I reckon.
    • Because people who want that are buying euros. The people with the money to buy the aftermarket heads and blocks aren’t interested in efficiency or making -7 power, they’re making well over 1,000hp and pretty much only drive them at full throttle  best way to way make money is know your customer base and what they want and don’t spend money making things they don’t want.
    • It's not, but it does feel like a bit of a missed opportunity regardless. For example, what if the cylinder head was redesigned to fit a GDI fuel system? It's worth like two full points of compression ratio when looking at modern GDI turbo vs PFI turbo. I'm pretty reliably surprised at how much less turbo it takes to make similar power out of a modern engine vs something like an RB26. Something with roughly the same dimensions as a -7 on an S55 is making absolutely silly power numbers compared to an RB26. I know there's a ton of power loss from things like high tension rings, high viscosity oil, clutch fan, AWD standby loss, etc but it's something like 700 whp in an F80 M3 vs 400 whp in an R33 GTR. The stock TF035HL4W turbos in an F80 M3 are really rather dinky little things and that's enough to get 400 whp at 18 psi. This just seems unwise no? I thought the general approach is if you aren't knock limited the MFB50 should be held constant through the RPM range. So more timing with RPM, but less timing with more cylinder filling. A VE-based table should accordingly inverse the VE curve of the engine.
    • I've seen tunes from big name workshops with cars making in excess of 700kW and one thing that stood out to me, is that noone is bothering with torque management. Everyone is throwing in as much timing as the motor can take for a pull. Sure that yields pretty numbers on a dyno, but it's not keeping these motors together for more than a few squirts down the straight without blowing coolant or head gaskets. If tuners, paid a bit more attention and took timing out in the mid range, managed boost a bit better, you'll probably see less motors grenading. Not to name names, or anything like that, but I've seen a tune, from a pretty wild GT-R from a big name tuner and I was but perplexed on the amount of timing jammed into it. You would have expected a quite a bit less timing at peak torque versus near the limiter, but there was literally 3 degrees of difference. Sure you want to make as much as possible throughout the RPM range, but why? At the expense of blowing motors? Anyhow I think we've gone off topic enough once again lol.
    • Because that’s not what any of them are building these heads or blocks for. It’s to hold over over 1000hp at the wheels without breaking and none of that stuff is required to make power
