Spotters on bench: half of them get it right, the other half swoop in to save you at the slightest sign of a struggle. This is a person who likely has never pushed maximum intensity during their own workout for they see their struggles in your own; a breaking point for failure.

Seriously, don't touch the f**king bar until I drop it on my chest!

Tried d-stunner PWO tonight big caffeine hit 300mg a serving, tastes mega chemically and the aftertaste stays around for half an hour or so. No real beta tingles and no crazy vain pump or anything. Yet to see how bad the crash is but I have a contain of the stuff so will keep updated :)

LOL I love lifting without a spotter... means if I f**k it, then I wear the consequence (have worn a 42.5kg dumbell before LOL).

thats ^ just dumb.

Spotters are there to assist - however it's mostly a mental thing as most peeps I see being spotted do most of the work

I had a spotter to help me bench (big Matt 6"5 or 6"6 145kg and super strong - no roids btw)

Got me over the 100kg bench with him

I did all the reps myself till I fatigued and on the last one and my left arm just let go

If it wasn't for him my arm / shoulder would been super foutu (fkd)

Spotters only intervene when they need to

Most importantly your spotter actually has to be paying attention/big enough to actually help. Have seen people doing decent bench weights with spotters that couldn't lift a cup of flour

I have spotted people at my gym benching 150kg Nick. If you position yourself with one foot in front of the other and lift the bar straight up if you need to with a mixed grip it's not hard...

One foot infront of the other is usually appreciated as it prevents nuts to the face lol

They don't have to be strong, only enough to make up the 10% or so of strength that the lifter loses at point of failure. Unless they are a shitflamin mongrel and make you do all the work, the bench presser should still be pressing up to help you get the bar up and can still push at least 90% of the weight.

I don't see the point to spotting if the spotter is just helping the lifter through their whole set...drop the fkin weight if you can't lift it by yourself. They really should only be there to help you if you are about to drop it on yourself / pushing the last rep out and can't get it by yourself.

I only use a spotter on my last set when I go for max reps.

I tell the spotter to walk in when I say now and getthe weight in the rack.

I LOL at people who get spotted from my their first set till their last on nearly every exercise.

I think its a bro thing and they like their friends junk sitting on their forehead.

lol, couple weeks ago I saw a spot n twat combination going at it for 100kg bench. Helped him a lot from the push off right up until the last rep, and all the reps were shallow; about half way to the chest. I thought, what's the point, are you gonna go home and say you benched 100 for x reps? Bet he couldn't do one on his own. Drop it to 90kg and do it properly fgt. Spotter there to save you, not to do it for you!

I turned away before the set finished because I didn't want to hear the cringeworthy "all you bro" at the end of it.

P.S. Junk should not be in a man's face any longer than necessary, thus only in an emergency where it's a choice between a heavy bar coming down on the chest/neck and having some guy's nuts in your face, should you elect to have a spotter help you...and even then...tough call...

The other thing to remember is people don't look at alternate exercises to build strength in a certain area. ie will always go for loading up a bar to look impressive, vs slower and better technique with lighter weight dumbells.

P.S. Junk should not be in a man's face any longer than necessary, thus only in an emergency where it's a choice between a heavy bar coming down on the chest/neck and having some guy's nuts in your face, should you elect to have a spotter help you...and even then...tough call...

What about a woman's face?

    • when does it run badly; hot/cold/both, idle/part throttle/full throttle what computer is running it and what data can you get from it?
    • Perhaps, and it's deceptively similar. I was yesterday days old when I first heard anyone mention that the default guards have exactly XXXmm space. No more "is 8.5+37 going to be flush/fit, or will it poke? how much? 9.5 +16.9?" etc. Can just do maths and subtract from 100 - Shit, Wheels should have this measurement stamped on them. "This wheel extends 74mm from the hub in one direction and 57mm in the other" This is a far better system than offset, inches, and backspacing.
    • Hi guys, I know I lt could be a range of issues although when driving my gtr its starts sputtering and stalling feels like maybe an inter cooler pipe loose or so but that's not the case. recently had a comp check with 165psi across all 6 give or take a few psi. a mate was saying maybe IAC valve  could anyone point me in the direction of where to go from next I was thinking coils / plugs.   its due for an upgrade so I'm going to r35 coils. In the mean time I'm Just wanting to get it running alright    cheers
    • I don't know....but I can't see how they would be. Different shape chassis and bumper means it is unlikely the reo is interchangeable. Doesn't mean it would be impossible to modify it to fit of course
    • They're supposed to not be compatible.
