If you really get stuck writeoff and can't make up your mind with all these great suggestions, I'll lend you the SLED for a night and you can take her for a spin along the coastline. :(

THANKS!!!!

I have printed this up and now have it in writing. ;)

dont set the bar too high $$ wise mate, and yeah dinner can be pretty stressful for a 1st date. something simple like going to chocolate on rundle st, or even getting a bunch o fish n chips n sitting on the grass down the bay is totally underrated. Places like that where there is plenty going on around u, give heaps of inspiration for conversation.

Oh oh, I think I might need a lawyer. :) Did you note the time I made the offer.......I must have been sleep walking & sleep typing. :P me!!

Never, never underrate fish n chips down at the bay, worked for me in my younger days.........just bring a couple of 'wet ones' with you, she might not like greasy fingers after.

You have to be kidding, its not that expensive

check out the menue here

The hilton is very over rated and not worth the visit. In my opinion it is trying to live off of a reputation that is no longer deserved. The food is OK (but no better than OK) and you can find food to match in many local PUBS. Whilst the hilton employ some top cheffs, most of the staff that prepare you meal are little more than kitchen hands (who like to call themselves chefs)

yes it is very overrated and the food (in my opion) wasnt that great. just the chef has alot to live upto.

i went for the tasting australia menu which cost me nearly 500 for the two of us consiting of 10 different courses. this menu wont be up on their site as it was mailed to us a week before hand.

it was my first and last time i will ever go there

SHIKI AT THE HYATT HOTEL IN TOWN OMG thats the best japanese restraunt place to eat!! they cook infront of you too heaps good if u want entertainment + food. OR u can go to BARIA at Catalina if parafield gardens ahahaa ....

If you're cashed up, Chloe's Restaurant is sensational - seriously one of the best meals I've ever eaten. I took my wife there, and we cracked $200 for the night, but it was worth every cent. I'm not into restaurant snobbery and was of the opinion that you reach a price where you spend more on a meal just for the sake of the restaurant's image, but the quality of the ingredients really impressed me.

For the best fish and chips on the planet, there's a place in Semaphore where you actually have to order half an hour in advance, they're that good. The name escapes me just now.

    • I would not replace the gauges. A well setup tune should never require any of that. I'm of the opinion that if you can't safely hand over a car to your parents to drive it's not fit for purpose and more engineering work should be done. Honestly I'm not a fan of external boost controller boxes either but if you have to you can shove the controller into the glovebox or something once it's set up. Tee it off the OEM MAP sensor. Also you probably want to put a two pin plug on the new solenoid, bolting it to the OEM location works. Just separate the wastegate line and compressor outlet so it will work on a 3 port solenoid, kevboost was walked through how to do this on an RB26, same idea just different locations on an RB25. You may have to remove the restrictor in the OEM hoses if they're still in there.
    • Yep, it's why in Australia we never brought in the 1 child policy like China.  China can't afford to use the shit they make in their own country as it's too much to risk having only one child...  Or maybe that's how they test their shit before they send it to Australia - they use the second kid that families had when they weren't supposed to as the tester?  They weren't supposed to exist in the first place so no loss if they succumb to a work place incident?  🤣
    • It's also the reason neither Duncan or I can own a car rotisserie
    • this is the reason we have more than one child right?
    • It was roughly 3.5 hours.    car went in around 11:00 and I was done around 2:30 He did the initial runs, install the BC and then Nistune install and tune.  The best part was sitting in the lobby and hearing the skyline on full throttle at the dyno 😂😂
