good to hear u got through mate

Obviously coilovers, lowered slightly, airpods, wheelspacers, Kakimoto Dual N1 exhaust & BBS wheels with 265 rubber are all OK as long as they're within spec and all mounted well.

lol, no they arnt. a cop shop inspection isnt very thorough, they will check whats on the defect, and depending on how lucky u are they might have a suss of other things. but just for future reference:

coilovers are legal providing they are not height adjustable, although by the way u said that it makes me think they were. even if they are at legal ride height they arnt legal if they are able to be lowered below or above the legal limit.

pod filters are legal in SA providing they are secured. wheelspacers are illegal unless fitted from factory, aka pretty much not legal for any car. exhaust might pass, probably borderline. 265 tyres indicate probably a 9" wheel knowing BBS, 9" wide is illegal, it gets more technical with regards to how it affects track, but basically they are illegal.

so count urself as pretty lucky, saying that i have passed cop shop inspection with straight through exhaust etc, they just checked what they needed and ignored the rest.

lol you took it down on the right day

41deg and all they want to do is sight it "Yes thats a car lets go back in side now" ;)

well done man

Yeah, I think you're both right. The shed at Sturt was about 50 degrees inside while the small office was air cond. While the one inspector (by himself) isn't inspecting, he sits in the small office and it was 10 minutes before closing time so I think he had enough for the day. He did ask to put my windows up 1/2 way so they are interested in things like tint and possibly anything else very obvious.

Wanted to stay low mount so I've already bought a pair of GT2860R 707160 -5.

No point in going top mounts or big single unless it sees the track or drag strip more than the street.

even then ya would'nt go high mounts or big single unless your looking for lots of lag and sub 9 sec times. GTR's were designed for low mounts and perform better in most areas if left that way.
