As you can see from the dimensions (i hope these are accurate) there isn't a huge difference. The only large difference is width (which is most noticable to my eye) which is 10.1cm wider on the R35.

I'd say the sculpting of the body on the R35, being more shapely and voluptuous, gives it more visual mass than the hard-lined R34, which looks more like a dart. If the 34 nose was wider you'd find it hard to say there was a massive size difference.

Proves how body design can convince you of a certain 'sleekness' or 'toughness' depending on how low and broad a car is, or tall and slim.
