Hey all,

If i had my car with me at the moment i would take a photo to show exactly what i am talking about, but having said that i'll try to explain...

I'm wondering if anyone knows where to purchase the plastic screw in clips that hold a lot of the front bar into the reo bar ( on a series 1 R33 anyway)

they same sort of concept also holds the plastic panels that sit just in front of your front wheels.

I guess over the years many of mine had become quite brittle and on removal of my front bar and the like to install a fmic today, i few got broken.

Also i'm in melbourne ;)

thanks

Camden

Your local paint/body shop will be able to fix you up.

awesome. i had figured that body shops would carry such things, but hopefully they don't ask some silly amount of money just coz they can ;)

Maybe you can purchase a small bag of them lol. Tell us how you go, I've broken a fair few of mine too :(

pretty sure they are at supercheap also...

Have been past both Supercheap, Autobarn and Bunnings today whom all only stocked automotive clips that i certainly use to find all the time in interiors of cars (tree design) but nothing of the type ive found holding on the outer components of my 33. will start visiting some smash repair places tomorrow (if i can be farked going out in the 40+ degree heat we are having in melbourne)

Cheers

my repairer sorted mine bout when replacing my front bar.. dont suppose u have tried nissan yet?

I did goto nissan cambewell yesterday who were as unhelpful as last time i went there (they really arn't interested in helping people with imports)

nissan brighton on the otherhand have been more than helpful in the past sourcing me many little bits and pieces, just havent had time to drop past there yet.

I also dropped into a repairer near where im working on my car in collingwood called LA. They were a great help and said they normally would have that style of clip but just didnt have any left. They suppied me with a similar style of clip in mean time.

    • Ahhh, that, yeah, but it all worked out well in the end As for the ITB noises, I don't really wind it out with her in the car, and the dort only really starts dorting hard when your WOT or up it hard
    • It wasn't about the dollars. I mean how she didn't like the loud exhaust and you had to change it again 😛
    • I'll tell her I put in a new air filter on it, which, it would have anyway with the ITB's In the end she isn't to fussed, she spends lots of money on hair, nails, make-up and all the other "required" beauty products that women use, plus I grease the wheels with shiny gifts and holidays wherever and whenever I can She once questioned my car spending "budget", but after itemising everything she spends on herself, and what I spend on her, and the fact that I don't care if she does or doesn't wear make-up and fancy pants perfume, or requires new outfits for every wedding, funeral or anything else she deems worthy, and I'm quite happy to go "real" camping, instead of staying in hotels or jaunts on cruise ships, she decided not to press the subject on how I spend funds, and has never asked "how much did that cost" again, so a win to me And how often can you say you really get a win with the fairer sex? She is a good woman, and in the big picture, I'm really lucky.....that she hasn't killed me yet
    • What will you do when the Minister of War and Finance says the intake noises are too loud?
    • Will the clear coat dissolve the ink tho?? I thought about clear vinyl tape too. Thinking what to do haha. The one I have now is cracked in 1 spot, otherwise mint. Plus the MINES one is much thicker plastic material so its not flimsy at all.
