Ive got a full wide body kit ready to go on my 34 start of feb. 50mm rears 30 mm front

I bought them off a guy here in the classifieds

Na sorry mate, took me ages to find that kit, but i can post pics when its done in about a month

I was planning to buy that kit off ecl...but he told me that he will be away for weeks and didnt say anything about the kit so i though he sold it to you...so you guys saying that east bear kit can be fit with a GTR wide fender coz thats what im planning to do....

thanks

kevin

Well Ive tracked down some wide fenders from the UK.. about $750 to get them made, + Postage.. Im skeptical but I suppose its the only option?

You should seriously check rhdjapan if you're considering buying from the UK. You'll probably get a cheaper price and something that garunteed to fit. Their business is legit and registered in Japan. I'm doing the following and this is what they quoted me at in US Dollars. All ER34 GTT 2WD parts.

$565 East Bear FRP Aero Hood (not painted)

$582 East Bear Front Bumper (not painted)

$530 East Bear Rear Bumper (not painted)

$477 East Bear Side Steps (not painted)

$263 ER34 Front Vented Fenders (+20mm, not painted)

$276 East Bear Front Grill Stay

$370 East Bear R34 LED Tail lights

$68 R34 GTT Trunk LED

$439 Gandor Full Carbon Fiber Aero Mirrors (Blue tint)

$1324 Racing Hart CXR 19x8.5 (x2)

$1384 Racing Hart CXR 19x9.5 (x2)

$128 R34 GTT OEM Rear Rotors (set)

None of these items are on their website.. I just sent them pics and asked if they could get them and they said absolutely.

I've already ordered items from them so I know they are legit. All I'm saying is that it would be a mistake to not even compare rhdjapan to the UK company prices... unless there's other reasons...

Yeah Half Pink Half blue and then glitter silver over coat... then the number plates FAIRY ... I tell ya what, cops wouldnt even bother lol.

I like the idea of RHD might look into that, the price of the east bear stuff is insane.

Front fenders are easy to get and 10mm aint really wide body. The hard part is getting the rear wide body

My mistake, the venter fenders for GTT are 20mm. You can get the wide rear from RHD too, just ask them. You're right, it's not really a "Wide Body kit", it just makes your front and rear fenders just as wide as the GTR. Anything wider I think you'll have to get a wide body kit for a GTR and mod it for a GTT... I never heard of a wide kit in that sense for a GTT.

I Have Empire Auto Looking into a wide kit from Japan for me, Im rather excited and from what we discussed he seems reasonably positive on getting it.

Anyone know who sells IMPUL side skirts in sydney?

    • Hi all,   anyone know where I can pick one of these up for a reasonable price? I just resprayed my rear trunk due to fuel stain and my new muse spat install.    added a photo for some content 🤣👍   thanks
    • Consider a 35 too...
    • He's right ~ there is no 'magic' with stuff like this ... it is more likely that in the process of looking for the short, the loom/wire 'incidentally' got moved in the process, thus removing the short ~ now, that maybe a wire (in a loom) rubbing against the edge of some grounded metal, that's worn through the insulation, causing the (now intermittent) short to ground. If one wire in a loom has been damaged in this fashion, it's reasonable to presume that other wires beside it may have also be damaged, and now exposed...you can bet the green crusty copper corrosion will start... ...that'd be a pisser, Murphy's Law steps right in as GTS observes...but worse, something like that is easier to find when shorted...ie; unplug bulb and fuse, and put multimeter in continuity mode so you get constant beep, and carefully poke about hoping to find if some movemet of the harness stop the beeping.... ...it's still all a bit Arnie tho' ..It'll be back... 😃
    • Yeah, but knowledge of one wire's insulation worn through to short on earth implies the possibility of other wires doing the same. I had my power steering die, because the wire that runs to the solenoid valve on the rack runs in the same loom as the power wire for the O2 sensor. And when the O2 sensor/wire did something stupid and burnt part of that loom to death, the only indication was the shit(ter) fuel economy and the heavy steering. It took deep excavation of the looms in the bay to find the problem. Not wear through in that case, but similar shit.
    • Ah, I thought he'd wired it to one of the spare ECU inputs! Too long ago since I read that post, ha ha. I've been arguing with radiators, harmonic balancers, alternators and rust since reading it.
