Just wondering if anyone could tell me from there experience what brand electronic boost controllers are good. Are Blitz better than greddy? or should i go all out and get an apexi avc. i basically want something that is easy to use and has a digital display. Any help would be great..

^ yep x2

Eboost2 ftw !!!

Gate pressure settings, sensitivity settings, 6 preset boost, lauch control, boost and rev recall, boost gauge and controller in 1, looks neat and a ease 2 fit and use.

over boost shut down, warning lights and sounds when reaching high boost.

Haha u would think i work for turbosmart >_<

2 months ago i had a power fc fitted and wanted a suitable boost controller to suit... i settled with the avcr.. had my ash tray removed and fitted it there... ive never been happier with a boost controller... it is expensive but that little blue screen tells me what i need to know and can change between 3 boost settings in about 3 seconds! took a while to get used to but hell its great! and once learnt easy to use. has functions that i dont even use but if i ever get real serious there there for future use! if u have a apexi power fc i say go with the avcr. installation was relitively simple and the electronic valve sits near my filters.

good luck!!

I was thinking apexi soinoid plug as i have a power fc but i want funtions like scramble and graghs. peak settings ect. thinking of Blitz SBC 3. Has anyone used this type, how do they rate ?

I've got a Blitz SBC I-Colour and it's a pretty handy little unit.

Tons of functions and i've never had a problem with it.

Oh finding an english manual was the hard part but not cause i was installing it just for my use afterwards.

a bit of a side step but im using a VAFC as a boost guage for my car

it displays like the AVCR in guage and digital and digital tacho emulation format

but it lets you choose between the scale and measurment

i can choose between 0 to 15psi or 15psi to 30psi

and lets me choose PSI, MMHG/KGCM2 and KPA

Had a Profec B Spec 2, loved the ease of use, but hated the lack of full functionality and not being able to set psi boost that it would actively try to reach. Just bought an AVCR yet to see it in action, but sure it will meet my expectations.

You want something with a Dual Solenoid.

Single solenoid items are harder to setup, and at times do not perform as well as a dual.

A AVC-R is a single... Blitz, HKS etc are duals.

Often dual are more expensive, but you get what you pay for in that regard
