i just bought a hks type one, its in the car now, it stays on when i turn the car off, but all the extra features like the speed, shift light dont work. the big problem is that the alarm wont arm while the car is on. so i need to know how to get it to arm.

btw, does anyone have the instructions for the hks type one?

cheers, issa.

also need to know where to plug the wires in for the speed reading and rev reading.

yea im thinking of taking it to an auto electrician for that bit.

but i want to find the revs/rpm signal at least. can someone help me find it on the pinout posted above. i cant see it or is it under the name of something else??? :s

cheers, issa.

i will see if i have any diagrams when i get home tonight. altho i think i only have the mechanical workshop manual for the rb25

in theory there should be a wire going to your instrument cluster which would be your rpms

wired in, got all the wires that i needed for the turbo timer in place, now im getting all the features of the turbo timer working. must say its pretty impressive for what its got, i still need some getting used to it though.

i wired it in straight into the ecu :D

works well, but i still need the alarm to arm while the car is on instead of waiting for it.
