A couple of weeks ago my Odometre ticked over to 111000 km's and that's where it stayed! I reset my tripmetre a short time after and now that doesn't work either. I am assuming that both are related :(. Does anyone know how I might fix this, it's starting to p*ss me off and I don't want to go bashing around trying to fix it because I honestly wouldn't have any idea what I am doing...

The exact same thing happened to my R33 speedo, the speedo continued to work but the trip metres both stopped.

I removed the gauge cluster from the dash (I don't trust people that I do not know working on my cars) and I took it to an instrument repair shop. Apparently this is a common problem and for $100 he pulled the speedo apart and replaced the broken part.

Hi - Mine broke too (R33 GTS-T Auto) at about 96000klm , apparently its a common fault , there is a little bracket that breaks inside the speedo , VERY difficult to get to without buggering the whole speedo assembly , I mailed my assembly to Richmond-Tweed instruments who fixed it for $100. He guarantees his fix will NEVER break again!!!!!!!
