Nismo Locker

Hi i'm looking at buying my first skyline, there's a few advertised at the moment that i'm interested in, however i've just found a 33 GT-R that was just over my price range, but still quite cheap.

One of the things listed in the ad is "Nismo Mechanical Locker" which kind of puts me off, i've owned other vehicles with lockers and it's not something that I really want.

I've asked a good friend about these and he said he hadn't heard of them and it might just be an aftermarket LSD, suggested I post here to see if anyone knows anything about it.

So firstly, anyone know if there is such a thing as a Nismo Locker, and secondly, has anyone from Vic / Melbourne ever seen / spotted the car in question?

As this would be my first skyline, i want to make sure I get a good one!

Firstly - Yes Nismo do make mechanical diffs - 1 way, 1.5 way and 2 way.

Secondly- that link you supplied doesnt seem to work for me....

Looks tough mate, and the price he is asking is pretty reasonable. Do your homework though. There are heaps of threads on here re people wanting to buy a skyline for the first time / new to these sort of cars.

And if youre worried about the locker, test drive it first.

I drive around with a 2way in my daily. I cant get enuff of it! clunk clunk clunk clunk
