Stock Vs Slotted Rotors, Don't Understand, Please Help!

I have a R32 GTS-T and I live in Japan.

I need to change my front rotors. They have been turned once but when it was done, a lot of metal was taking off because the rotors were warped.

I am looking at aftermarket rotors. I want to get slotted but my friends(some who own skylines) tell me that they are only good for racing. I use my car as a daily driver, but once I have it modded, I want to go to a track maybe once a month.

Are slotted rotors fine for everyday driving? Or should I stick to stock after market rotors?

i'd think they would be fine for everyday driving mate

all they do is disperse brake dust, i'd say ur mates might think it might wear down brake pad quicker?

but so marginal i wouldnt worry bout it

slotted discs for sure!
