hey all, tonight i felt like burning some rubber so i took the skyline out the bak of my house on the concrete slab for the first time, everytime i hooked a fast doughnut the car would stall, ive done burnout many many times before in my other car no problem but the skyline would stall, im not sure if it could be fuel surge but yeh, does this happen to any other people?

I HAVE NOW GOT A VIDEO of the skyline stalling when being whipped fast,

maybe it hasn't come on boost yet as your dumping in 2nd perhaps... or maybe it just aint coming oin boost soon enough for you, I find doughnuts arn't that easy from a standing start try a run up...

or maybe your other is a V8 which can do burnouts alot easier...

krispy kreme is the work of teh devil... its so good but i just want more, kinda like heroin i suppose lol

being a VL driver i can relate to wanting to rip 'nuts every now and then so i will give you a serious answer, how much fuel was in the tank, you probly starved the pick up when u flicked it around

sounds as if this could be the case ^

i know with v8's with large carbs or to bigger carbs will do this because the fuel will swish up the side of the barrels in the carb causing it to stall when on the gas.

sometimes can happen in v8 cars (with big carbs) when stopping to fast or comming to a hault to quick at the lights... which sometimes results in a flushed looking face :P

get a bigger concrete slab out the back of your house.

haha its big enough mate, live on 8 acres of land with about an acre or concrete for the work viechles to park,

the car had over a quater tank of fuel but dunno, ill try again later
