Silicon Water Hoses

i was ringing around on the weekend to try find some new water hoses, mainly my top and bottom radiator hoses, turns out that the silicon hoses are about 10-15 dollars more then the normal hoses! im just wondering if its worth it? id have to wait longer foe them as well because no shop ever has any "spare" skyrine stuff laying around

i also called lakeside nissan and asked if they had water hose kits, neg. they can import the hoses from japan and im looking at about 300-400 bucks for the lot! wtf hey.
